I don't normally praise people on a review but....
I came here this morning looking to buy gifts for teachers. Sadly, they were all sold out. I was clueless on what to do next. Feeling very disappointed, I thought to leave the store. I then asked help from Tamika - who was working at the cashier- to help me choose an appropriate gift for a teacher... she was filled with ideas ready to share! I ended up buying more than I thought I was going to. I spent 45 pounds in total. What a helpful sweet soul. She definitely deserves a raise or to be promoted! Thank you Tamika.

Great service and staff. I came to buy some balloons and asked for them to be blown up. The manager asked when the occasion was for (next day) and recommended I come then otherwise risk of the balloons deflating by then. She also organised everything I needed. Went back the next day to pick up the balloons. They were prepared and ready to collect. This is what customer service is about!

Genuinely idiotic responses from staff. Bought a festive spinner toy which lights up and has tiny fixtures, it broke within the first hour of playing with it. One of the fixtures inside the toy came off, from normal handling. Went back in under a week to return with the receipt and the pathetic member of staff refused and said if you bought it back in an hour MAYBE we can do something but you could have broken this yourself? Myself? It?s a fixture inside a toy which no one can physically reach and I don?t care if it?s one hour or a week - that?s cheap and unreliable workmanship.
Avoid spending even your pennies here, the staff think the money goes in their own pocket

I recently visited Card Factory and had the pleasure of being assisted by Melissa and Shania. Both were absolutely amazing?friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. Melissa greeted me with a warm smile and immediately made me feel welcome, while Shania went above and beyond to help me find the perfect cards and gifts for my special occasions.
The store was well-organized, and their product knowledge was impressive. They offered great suggestions tailored to what I was looking for, and their attention to detail made my shopping experience seamless and enjoyable.
It?s rare to find such dedicated staff who genuinely care about their customers. A huge thank you to Melissa and Shania for their outstanding service?I?ll definitely be coming back!

Bought two cards and balloons was told I could come in the morning at 11 o?clock when the shop opens to get balloons filled with helium upon arrival my time was wasted. I was told the balloons cannot be filled until at least half an hour when somebody else comes in this is a total disregard for my time and energy and it?s also a lie from what I was told yesterday I don?t recommend trusting them, if you need anything, don?t make arrangements with them because the arrangements will not be kept

Just had the worse experience of the day today I went to card factory today around 3:30pm with my little 1year old girl they had this unicorn light where u can press the button and it spins rainbow light while I was showing it to my little girl the women who was behind the tills name was something like Antoinia as I couldn't see her name badge properly as she was cover it. While she was serving a customer she starred shouting suddenly I look at her and she is screaming at me and telling me not to the press the button as the battery will die and I looking at her in a shock and couldn't bare in mind what the screaming was about! I then questioned her and said I have full rights to see if the product is working or not. They kept battery in the toy so that customers can see how the product works! The lady started saying not to press the button as she needs to change the battery after and she said that she does not want to do that even though its her job there where more then 4 customers in the store seeing her behaviour. I dont understand why keep staff those does not want to work and if the staff is right then why keep products for customer to see! Then a second staff came who told her colleague to keep quiet as 1st she was wrong 2nd there was so many customers looking which gave very bad impression. Am so disappointed with the behaviour as there was people telling that this store has very rude staff and today I experienced! Get yourself sorted Card Factory! You work there to sell products for the company you don't work there to relax. You don't don't paid for relaxing and you don't pay for batteries or anything else its the company that does! Ruined my daughters happiness as I was going to but the unicorn light which then I couldn't!

Staff name Mayuri behavior is unacceptable. Mayuri?s approach to customer service needs significant improvement. She should learn to communicate politely and professionally, even when conveying difficult messages. Her abrupt and disrespectful manner not only affected my shopping experience but also reflected poorly on your store.
I have worked as a supervisor at a card shop, I have encountered various situations, but I have never seen a more unprofessional and ill-mannered staff members ,like Mayuri Despite her rudeness, she accused me of being rude and became argumentative. This behaviour is unacceptable in a customer service role.Mayuri was talking back despite telling I don?t need this conversation , I was talking with another customer service executive but the rude staff mayuri began answering.despite telling i need no conversation ,.
I hope you will address this issue to ensure better customer service in the future.

Horrible experience. Almost had to pay double the price!!
The store policy is that they will re-inflate the balloons for a charge as stated on their receipts.
But they didn?t accept this and argued for a good 10 minutes with me.
Once I agreed to buy another for double the price, I got a receipt and had to show it to them for them to remember that I can get it re inflated for half the price.

Terrible experience at this shop.The staff named Mayuri, accused me of shoplifting without any evidence and rudely spoke with me. I totally understand it is her job to check, but there has to be a sense manner you ask. After proving them wrong, they didn't even bother to apologize for their mistake. The attitude was unprofessional and disrespectful. I felt humiliated and unwelcome. Avoid this place if you value respectful customer service!
