My wife has visited your branch twice to close her current account, which she hasn?t used for years but has accumulated hundreds of pounds in fees. In July, she was asked to pay money into the account in order to close it, but then told to return in a month?s time. She went back today and was again asked to pay additional money to cover fees, yet the account still wasn?t closed. Once more, she was told to come back in a month so more fees could be collected.
We do not understand why it is so difficult to close an account when there are no credit cards or loan debts associated with it. Unless this matter is resolved promptly, we will have no option but to escalate it to the complaints department and the Financial Ombudsman.

I saw Kanta at the Willesden banking hub, gave me good information about where to start regarding buying a house, she did the affordability calculator to give indication on how much the bank can possibly lend. I now know what I need to do next.
She also showed me how to move money between my account on the APP and do a transfer to someone on my list of payee?s.
Kanta has good knowledge all around, does job very professionally and has a good attitude, always there to help.
