This is now co-run with Eat 17 as far as the sign indicates - images and the name should be updated to reduce confusion.Moved to the area recently and OH MY GOD the prices here are mad. I used to shop at my local, schmancy organic, vegan, etc store and the prices there weren't cheap but MUCH less ridiculous than the prices here. Was seeing items here for several pounds more than they were sold at the last bougie place. But worse here is that the selection isn't that great - for example I wanted pecorino cheese and the only options were 2 bougie £8+ versions (because they were truffle flavoured or whatever). All the things I used to go to my last local fancy shop for either aren't stocked here or are so absurdly expensive (even for the village) that it's not worth it - needless to say I'll be actively avoiding this place. The responses from the manager on people's reviews are garbage as well. Email them to tell them what? What's already in your review? The bog-standard response to a black man complaining of racial profiling in the shop is really cheap. Not a fan. Do better. Boo.EDIT: yay! I got one of those stock standard garbage responses about emailing them with their complaints. Why bother when others have said nothing comes of it? The other day I found a product in a store for £2.70 that was being sold at this store for over £4 which reminded me of how silly it is. I'm sure it would be CHEAPER to go to the Eat17 next door for a lot of meals than it would be to buy the ingredients from this shop and then spend the time making it yourself ?

Great selection of vegan products including the bakery. 7/10 for their standard croissants.

Great selection of products. But perhaps the management might consider taking the time to disabuse their staff of the notion that the (uncommon) presence in-store of a black man, warrants him being shadowed around while shopping. Not only is it bloody annoying it is crass and offensive.

Great selection of produce, but it?s the staff here that make this place really great. They are all really friendly and helpful, going out of their way to find you what you need.

Horrible, I?d give no stars if possible. Terrible customer service, dogs allowed, everything?s overpriced. I?ve tried time and again with no joy. Save your time and money and buy most of the same things at Nisa across the road. Update: I tried to get in touch by email but was rerouted to one person after another and in the end nobody responded. No surprise there.

Shut due to mouse problems, but hiding the window notice behind the produce stand.

This is an "Eat17" small supermarket, but I'm not sure who owns it. Is it Eat17 or Spar? Anyway, the selection in the shop is really good, and I like trying all the different cheeses. They also have a fairly decent selection of wine, and also some other local brands. However the pricing in the shop is outrageous. It's probably one, if not THE, most expensive supermarket I've been to in London. I would accept it if all the products were of really high quality and from small suppliers, however they often have just regular brands you can pick up in other supermarkets but with prices that are at time 4 or 5 times the cost (not exaggerating). To make it even worse, they have sneaky practices which involve displaying one price on the shelf, but if you check your receipt afterwards you have been charged more. I'm not the only one to spot this, and you can see of yourself that others have complained about the same thing. I've been logging photos of receipts and displays as I will eventually speak to Citizens Advice or Ombudsman to understand how I can report this malpractice. It's clearly being done on purpose as it is widespread across the store. Finally, some of the food is wrapped and priced as if it is going to be some kind of delicious, local produce. But, for example, I bought sandwiches the other day and they were dry, with barely any filling in them. Their "Ham and coleslaw" was basically a dry roll with a big dollop of cheap coleslaw with barely ANY ham in it whatsoever. Just a total waste of money.

A nice shop, with a good range, hamstrung by some absurb pricing practices (Value and wrongly shown prices) compared to other stores. Normally reserved for last minute purchases, or some rarer things not available elsewhere.

Prohibitively expensive for peopleOn an average income. Most things 2x the price or higher or other local shops. They use misleading price tags and the ?discounted? quick sale stock is never reduced by more than 10- 20%

Beware of this shop, they love to give misleading prices on the shelves by pricing up a smaller bag of something under a larger bag on the shelf or have a price for something completely different under the wrong product. It?s a common talking point amongst us Streites and must surely by slight of hand accidentally on purpose

I like this shop and go for certain bits and bobs. It has a good selection of unique and local products. A bit pricey but it is what it is for the location and clientele. One bit of advice, always check the prices at the till or get a receipt - on numerous occasions now I have been overcharged or the ticketed deals do not go through. It gets tedious and makes me want to shop there less.

Hello Eat 17 team. I was looking forward to a wonderful flat white to ward off the rain yesterday, but what I was served was less than acceptable. The coffee was very acidic, bitter and watery. I could not enjoy it all at and had to bin the drink. Unfortunately for me, the Barista's customer service was less than friendly too. They must have had something better to do on Sunday than make delicious coffees for paying customers. I can forgive a bad coffee OR bad service... but both is a little hard to digest in one day. I only hope this was a one off, but the coffee has changed and it has not been the same for some time.

All my favourite products here.Excellent selection. Note is a bit pricey because of quality of food, these brands cost a bit more everywhere. If you want good quality and more ethical products this is this place for you.

Great place for fancy goods! However, if you're making your customers pay trough their teeth for produce, cheese and choccy... Please make sure you price ALL OF YOUR STOCK CORRECTLY.
