We had a couple of pints just before closing time on a Friday night, beers were good and the atmosphere was quite noisy, as usual in this big pub.

Very friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere and clean. Had the chicken wings would recommend. Breakfast the next morning it was fab. Would come back again.

Looking for a nightcap with friends on a Saturday night near the station on the way home, we came across Goose. There are lots of big TV screens, thankfully silent. Nice tables and chairs. Background music is modern but not too loud
Pretty quiet for a Saturday? Staff friendly and competent. Drinks and prices ok. Some odd characters, but this is a city pub.

Decent pub with a good variety of beers and ciders at a reasonable price. The staff were polite. Calm atmosphere when watching football, with plenty of screens. Must be there early or reserve a table to get a seat

Eastern European team member trying to sell old poured Stella to customers, shouting ?buy 1 get 1 free?! Temp team leader told team leader he didn?t do machine refunds and said ?he didn?t care cause he?s on transfer from somewhere else? ! Just seemed no one gave a shit ! Same Eastern European member of staff kept slamming cutlery holders now ! Just felt angst behind bar and normally there?s quite good chemistry behind the goose bar !!
