Great energy in St Jame's Costa E17 7LD especially today this Wednesday, .I've been coming to this Costa for 4 months and it is always very clean and tidy 10/10, and it's very friendly with families and if your also going there by yourself to.

Nice bright, clean Costa in a good location close to the station. Unfortunately the WiFi is unusable here. I was hoping to get some work done while waiting for an appointment at the opticians around the corner but couldn't get anything done.

I used to go to this costa coffe and I would get my drink as usual however this time the Romanian lady that was working started to talk rudely to me pointing her finger towards my face. Normally, the workers always serve me my drink as I want it but this day she started to be rude and when I complained to the manager he didn't resolve the problem forgetting that the customer is always right and if is not for them costa coffee would not exist. I am very disappointed for the service I used to get a good impression of this place but it does not live up to it. The manager defended his staff instead of defending the customer who was right thishappened on 8/02/2025 at 15:10 pm you can check cctv.
I hope the owner will take action and resolve this incident as I believe that they need to learn more customer service skills.if I could give 0 Stars I would

we went to Costa Coffe this evening, my family and I, at 5pm we ordered chocolate funge brownie frappe and they made it without two of the ingredients that are usually inside, after they made it, I pointed out that some ingredients were missing and the manager said yes started shouting and attacking me in front of everyone, telling me that I had to thank them for putting the powder on my chocolate, an ingredient I hadn't asked for, that said, a terrible experience! manager not polite and bad. there are witnesses and the staff present who looked at him in fear

I usually go here all the time, but clearly the guy was having a bad day. I was in a rush but the customer in front was taking her time because she was pretty much an imbecile, there was 2 of them serving the one lady which wasnt needed and caused a huge que. I didnt say anything, I didn't complain as it wasnt necessary to do so, but the guy at the till (manager I think, Italian, Algerian guy) saw I was annoyed and purposely started snickering and started moving even slower. Again I go here all the time and have no issue with this store, but why this gentleman felt it was okay to do this when I didn't make a complaint or say anything. I waited without causing fuss. This is the same guy that used to work in the Old Walthamstow Mall branch that was noted to be very rude and abrasive.
