Good service, excellent value, and good food, but the atmosphere wasn't great. It's a small space, so it felt overcrowded on a Monday at 2:15pm. Because of this, I didn't especially enjoy my time there.

It's good for what you would expect from a local Wetherspoon, good drink selection and pretty good food at very reasonable prices. Nice mixed crowd and great service from staff. I like it!

Reasonably large space, pleasant staff working there, and fast service. However, consistently finding large portions of the menu are unavailable, which I do not encounter at other locations.

This is a proper boozer. Good beer and food at sensible prices. The staff are very helpful and polite and the atmosphere is welcoming, like a tradition British pub used to be - people from all walks of life, enjoying a drink and a chat. Love it here!

Shout out to the two males on duty on close on 14/10. Popped in for a quick snifter while waiting for a friend late at night. One random man decided to create a debate while being overtly racist and determined to let everyone know his opinion (and offending punters and staff). The staff discreetly made sure that I as a single female and him exited separately and safely as he was getting aggressive. He did shout after me outside but I had enough space between us to scarper off avoiding him. A big Thankyou. Was my first visit and was really impressed generally. Staff were all friendly and the locals (mostly !) seemed friendly. Let?s hope the racist chap was a one off!

04/09/24 - This was my first visit to this branch of Wetherspoons for breakfast, in this instance the calorie busting 'large breakfast' for £5.99. My order was placed and received within 15 minutes and represented good value for money.
