A couple of weeks ago.I was here to resolve an issue on behalf of my nephew, the security service on behalf of Lidl. The security guard in question caused an issue with my nephew just beacuse he put his bicycle in the 2nd isle whilst he tried to buy something from in store. The so called security officer identified himself as a instore detective however failed to supply adequite identification. So when my nephew called me to the store, I was told that they called the Police to attend. The police told my nephew to leave. Don't get me wrong but the Police main task is to keep the peace however they told my nephew off. So when i got there I spoke to my nephew to find out his side of his story. Then I found a police officer that just exited the store. So to keep the peace. I requested P.C. Salvage (yes that is his name.) To come into the store so i can talk the security officer in question and to keep the peace. However when I asked the security officer for proof that he is licenced he kept coming up with excuses. He even requested me to release him so he can go to an appointment of which is quite convienient, that this had to happen at the time of me requesting for the ID. However for those not understanding the Private Industry Authority Act 2001 section 9 terms of the lisence. So therefore at the moment in time I showed him mine. Bear in mind I have been doing security work for the better part of 10 years and I'm pretty quick with the laws regarding the PSI Act 2001. However his guys attitude shown as he is so arrogant it's unbelievable. He even asked me to talk to he's manager. His manager doesn't know the law either so i tried to educate him as well. He told to p*** off and to mind my own buisness. But I told law is law. I can't change it only conform to it. So the Police Constable that was present although, he intially agreed with me then the security guard was given a verbal warning. And we all walked away.I didn't have much inter action with much of the staff only the manager. She was polite however I forgot her name. Lol.I call upon Lidl to get a firm that know the laws and regulations of the security industry authority. PSI Act 2001. And not ones that are rude to your customers. Before is go, a bit of social justice. The police constable was just finishing up the request from me. And we all noticed a middle aged female walk out of the store and the alarm went off well thr Police Constable having none it requested the female to go back and wait for the secuirty officer to talk to her. However remember above when I stated that he had to leave due to appointment. So no security guard was onsite. But the female walked back inside and emptied her bags and tried to leave. Well she pretty much got in trouble for shoplifting. I left as it was not my buisness.Don't listen to thier B.S that they try to give.Stand your ground. Against them with law that they where swore to uphold.Hope this helps.

The time board says shop opens 30 mins earlier for browsing on Sundays. But it still not open. They are just making customers wait out in the cold.

I?m incredibly saddened to have to write this, but believe it needs to be said. My wife and 5 year old daughter visited your Wallington store yesterday. My daughter is learning to be more independent so was given a £5 note to exchange for coins in order to release a shopping trolley. My wife was a few steps away, but close enough to see the exchange with the cashier.Their interaction was very pleasant, and when my daughter walked back to my wife she was told that she should have as many coins in her hand as her age in years. She was then confused as to why she was holding only four coins. She is five years old and certainly hadn?t dropped one in the few steps she had taken. My wife looked to the cashier who sheepishly avoided eye contact for the rest of their shop. She wanted to confront them there and then, but didn?t want to tarnish what was an otherwise pleasant experience for our daughter.I have no agenda in writing this or desire to identify the person in question. I would also never make such a claim without a high degree of certainty.I just want to express my disappointment at such unethical behaviour, and that £1 ill-gotten by a member of your staff will be lost many times over in our decision to shop elsewhere.

It's not bad but the customer service is bad on the part of the staff, today I went to buy and there were 15 minutes left to close and the store guard comes to shout saying you have 5 minutes To buy, but what happens if there are more people in the store and it was full, and they come to give me time, that is disrespectful. The cashiers have a bad attitude As if I asked him to give me the purchases. If you are not happy with your job don't be there. What difference does Sainsbury's treat us as customers? They are polite.
