Liked it and was nostalgic from the teletext day's on TV. It was cheap too which is even better. I think it became asian owned in the end and not sure why it went bust

First time using this company and I wasn't impressed, the customer service representative quoted one a decent price for my holiday then once I agreed and paid my deposit called back and said the price had changed and its gone up. .. I wasn't best pleased but as its for my son's bday I couldn't be dealing with further complications.

Absolute joke fest of a company. When I originally booked the holiday I was told multiple times that there was no fee to amend/cancel the holiday. As it it turns out I am unable to travel due to work commitments.In order to claim on my holiday insurance I need a cancellation confirmation. I genuinely have lost count of the amount of hours I?ve wasted on the phone on hold while someone ?looks into it? and then just hangs up. 50 minutes was the longest they kept me on hold. They?ve also ignored countless emails.It doesn?t help you have to deal with people who have the mental agility of a house brick. I would prefer to drink a flagon of nuclear waste whilst having my balls stapled to a table then deal with these incompetent, unprofessional thieves.The holiday insurance company informed me that they are ?notoriously difficult to deal with?. This is the understatement of the last 20 billion years. I actually think I?ll have more success training a manatee in quantum physics.Avoid this company like you?d avoid taking your wife to meet Gene Simmons

on 07/30/2021 My family and I went on vacation to mallorca arriving at the hotel we found out that our reservation was canceled we called the company they said we were cancelled. My 2-year-old son fainted from fatigue. We stayed on the phone for 45 minutes and were not satisfied. We asked for help and our family sent money to pay what we had already paid to the Teletex holiday. It's been 3 days that we've been waiting for the return of our money and every time we call they ask for another 24 hours. You don't have respect.

I am putting this in for my best friendNEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY their customer service is non existent, booked a holiday with them for July 2020 I was entitled to a refund, but after months trying to contact them I was pressured into excepting a new date for this holiday, I was assured I would receive £136 within seven days and this was in November 2020. This has still not happened!!!! Have been on holiday with many companies over the years and this is the worst company I have dealt with.S. Soper.......not a happy bunny.

Disgusting experience so far. Have been told since May that they would change our holiday to a different destination. Its now less than 4 weeks before we are supposed to travel and we are still none the wiser.Every time I call I'm fobbed off. I've emailed over 10 times and had not one response. I've been told on around 7-8 occasions I'd get a call within "3 working days" or "7 days" and have never had a call. I was even told whilst on a phone call that I'd get a call back within an hour, never called.They are threatening to cancel my holiday if I don't pay the balance yet I have no idea where I'm going and the cost of where I'm going. Someone has to do something about these cowboys.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANYWhen I booked a short break for my daughter and her friend, I think I asked the agent 6 times if not more, if the holiday is cancelled will I get a refund and i was promised there would be no issuesWell go on Facebook and search for groups like TELETEXT HOLIDAYS T/A TRULY TRAVEL CLAIMS & REFUNDS where you will find 100's if not 1000's of people like me having issues getting a refund. If they do ever answer the phone the agents are very rude, Easy jet had cancelled the outbound flight and there was no other flight on that day therefore the holiday had to be cancelled, after sending 3 emails and many failed attempts to phone them someone eventually answered, his response was, the inbound flight is still going... i am not quite sure how customers are expected to catch a flight home when you haven't flown out there. I was then told I have to contact Easy jet myself to cancel the flights despite them being originally booked by TELETEXT, I phoned Easy jet who were very helpful and processed my refund immediately.. however I still haven't received my refund from TELETEXT... and neither have thousands of people like me. AVOID THIS COMPANY

Awful. Diabolical. Rude. Stole my money. Due to covid could not go on a 3 night holiday as the country had declared 14 day quarantine to anyone who entered. That was last year. I have still not received a refund. I have rang many times and been cut off and emailed number of times only to be fobbed off with lies saying they will refund me. It has been a year. What a joke of a company. Will not give up though i will keep pestering until my money has been refunded!!!!!!!!

THEY ARE NOT REFUNDING FOR HOLIDAYS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID!!!I booked a holiday for October. It was cancelled by the operator. Was told by Teletext that I would not get a refund until January. The refused to email me confirmation that I was due a refund and would only send a text telling me my holiday was cancelled. I have called repeatedly to find out about my refund and I am just put on hold. Today I have been put on hold for over an hour so far. The service is appalling. After using them for at least the last 10 years to book my holidays I will never give them a penny of my money again. Do not book with them, if the holiday is cancelled you will not get your money refunded.

I would give 0 stars if I could. A word of warning, Do Not book a holiday with teletext holidays. We had our holiday cancelled last May due to COVID-19 situation. We were asked to be patient regarding a refund, which we were. After 3 months we chased the refund and were promised we would receive it in a couple of weeks. Chased again the next month, told the same again and again and again for 5 months. Have now applied to the courts to recover our money. Please Do Not use this company.

we have booked several holidays with teletext and have always found then to be very polite and helpful. Their online manage my booking is great and i particularly like their web chat facility which i find quicker and better if you have a query. All in all i would recommend teletext to anyone.
