usually, I love River Island and the design of the clothes, but today I faced a really bad experience. when I got into the store around 5:00 pm. there was a staff member having a basket with long black hair; she was offering cards or candy. I am not sure for every customer and run behind them except me. I have noticed her behaviour and got into the store twice, and she repeated her behaviour. I tried to make eye contact with her, but she ignored me. My friend has noticed her behaviour because I was wearing hijab! then, I spoke with another hijabi lady and told her about my story; she told me the same thing: that the same lady did the same thing with her and ignored her while she was treating other customers nicely. This is really upsetting. While a nice friend of mine tried hard to find a job and struggled for 1 year to find an opportunity. River Island hired haters and racist people!!! and they don't care about customers feelings!!!!

Went looking for work clothes and the staff were absolutely amazing. Even at closing time, they were helpful, I never felt rushed. I felt such a good vibe from the staff I will definitely be going back!

Just went to collect my order and was told they are closing already at 6pm even though the web says closing time 8pm. All would be good, but the attitude from the staff was horrible. The person clearly was in a hurry to close the shop and demonstrated that very well. Sad

Some time ago I bought some discounted jewellery from another branch (Oxford Street I think). I was impressed with the price and the jewellery design had a very special look of bling about it.I also had purchased a pair of jet black Crew trainers with a piece of gold bling on each heel from the Liverpool branch.( they really shone in the dark)My last visit to the Chimes branch was to try on a pair of trousers. The trousers were okay but I didn't purchase them because I wanted to browse some additional stores. To see what else was on offer. I eventually found an alternative pair of trousers with a two tone black and grey design,zipped pockets and weather proof.
