Went on Monday to setup a new account a lady by the name of Vithusha helped me do it quite quickly the whole process taking under 10 minutes and also answered any questions. Wonderful customer experience.

On Tuesday 5th of august in the afternoon I visited this bank with a simple question. I went straight to the cashier who was unable to help. I might add she had an almost inintelligible accent. I was referred to a hijab wearing lady who was drawing pictures with a small boy. Eventually she passed the child to a man on a nearby computer, who put a lot of sweets and the soft drinks he was busy with in a metro bank bag and stashed them away in a drawer. He then proceeded to take care of the child. Finally the lady called me over and helped with my enquiry. She had to ask me 3 times the date of the transaction I was interested in, her mind was not on the job.
In the mean time there was quite a lot of people queuing and at last someone emerged from the back office to help
Eating, drinking and child care on frontline banking premises is most unprofessional.
A most disappointing experience.
I would certainly think of moving my account to a better class of establishment.

This bank gets worse and worse, severe lack of staff,it's lunch time when people nip to the branch to conduct business, and find a long queue to see a member of staff, Uxbridge branch you are going to lose customers.

Formal Complaint ? A Truly Frustrating Experience
To Whom It May Concern,
I?m writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with what has been, without exaggeration, the most consistently frustrating banking experience I?ve ever had. From the moment I opened my account, it has been nothing but issue after issue ? with no sense of reliability, resolution, or respect for the customer.
Let?s start with the online banking app, which is quite frankly a digital disaster. It barely refreshes, takes forever to reflect incoming payments, and feels like it was built in a rush ? possibly during a lunch break in 2011. For a service meant to manage people?s finances, the lack of functionality is both unacceptable and alarming.
As for the in-branch experience, it somehow manages to be even worse. The customer service is so poor, it?s as if the hiring criteria included the phrase: ?must dislike helping people.? You walk in needing help and walk out wondering if you accidentally offended someone just by existing. It?s not just unhelpful ? it?s disinterested, dismissive, and devoid of the basic courtesy expected from a professional institution.
There is never a sense of peace of mind ? only a nagging anxiety that something will go wrong, and no one will be there to fix it. If even one branch had staff who seemed remotely invested in their role, I might understand why anyone would choose to stay. But sadly, that?s not the case.
This isn?t a one-off bad day or an isolated experience ? this is a pattern. And at this point, it?s insulting. People deserve better from a financial institution. Much better.

The customer service across all London branches is extremely poor. The staff tend to ignore customers and appear to provide preferential treatment based on race. This discriminatory attitude needs to stop.

As a business client, I find it utterly ridiculous that opening a new business account takes 8 to 10 weeks. This level of inefficiency is completely unacceptable and a disgrace to any professional service.

Friendy staff and will respond to you on the most effective way, helpful. The staff and manager will respond to questions and queries as much as they can in a polite manor. Due to technical issuee they had with their friendly bases magic macgije they have decided to terminate all machines from all brances due to changes. Good thing ia you can still pay in with money bagss into your account.

My card got damaged and I went into the bank today and they said they don't replace debit cards same day and they said they haven't done it in 2 months which I don't believe is true as my friend went into the store 3 weeks ago and got a card the same day I have to wait 5 working days to get my debit card plus the man I spoke to behind the counter had a serious attitude not at all happy
