For the second time, when I wanted to buy shoes for my daughter in this branch, the ladies working there refused to sell them because they were not (allegedly it wasn't) in the system... but they were on the shelf and in a box (other store staff, after checking the pair of shoes on the reader, let my daughter try on a pair of shoes and took them to the cash desk). Why put something on the shelves if you can't sell it? It's a terrible mess there... The whole afternoon was wasted because of the situation in the store. After leaving the store, the child was once again disappointed and crying because it was the last pair of shoes in the colors she liked. If something is physically available why do they refuse to sell it??? Well, I recommend avoiding this branch... It's a shame to waste time looking for, trying on, and we wasted about 15 minutes at the checkout, and in the end we left with nothing, because despite the whole situation, the second daughter, despite the shoes she had chosen, also said that she no longer wanted shoes from this store, expressing solidarity with her sister. (who had tears in her eyes)?.

My recent experience at JD Sports Uxbridge has left me very frustrated. What began as a normal visit to buy a new pair of trainers turned into a complex issue that has left me out of pocket and empty-handed.After picking out the trainers I wanted, I inquired if it was possible to split my payment between £100 on card and the remaining £45 in cash. The staff assured me this wasn?t a problem, so I proceeded with the transaction. However, there was an error with the till system after I had already paid £100 by card. Despite receiving a physical receipt confirming the payment, I was informed that I would need to wait for a refund within the next three days due to the error.Over a week has passed, and the refund never showed up. Checking my banking app revealed that the transaction of £100 had been completed, yet the funds had not been returned to my account. After contacting the store, I was directed to my bank, only to be informed by them that resolving the issue remained the responsibility of the retailer.Many attempts to resolve the matter with JD Sports customer service proved equally frustrating, as they claimed to have no record of the transaction. They suggested to make the hour-long drive back to the store, armed with the receipt, so they could then offer a refund.Upon arrival, I was informed that the manager had just left a few minutes prior, leaving them unable to process the refund once again.They took down my telephone number and assured me that the manager would call me back the next day to resolve the matter once and for all. I was contacted by one of the shop floor workers, not by the manager, and was asked to send in a copy of my bank statement as proof that I was charged the £100 and that I still have yet to receive a refund. After sending this info through, 5 days later and I still have no response!This entire ordeal has been incredibly inconvenient and time-consuming, not to mention the loss of £100 as well as the extra commuting and parking costs. I find myself regretting ever stepping foot in JD Sports Uxbridge.

The same day pick up is only valid when you get confirmation delivery notification from evri. It was delivered the next day, so dont go rocking up without notifications or else you'll be disappointed.

Useless and incompetent. Ordered a same day click and collect first thing in the morning. By 4:30 pm hadn't received message order was ready to collect, tried calling numerous times, no one answers the phone, so I went in for them to tell me there is no record of my order number, lady asked another member of staff who said order number isn't recognised as order was rejected due to not being in stock, regardless of the money being taken from my account and a confirmation email saying order accepted. They then proceeded to tell me to call customer care about getting my money back, which I did, they informed me money would be back in my account in 3-7 days. I told them that they need to check there stock and actually inform customers before taking money out of account and then saying product isn't in stock. Completely ridiculous. But then to top it all off 5 days later money still hadn't gone in but I had received a message saying that my order was ready for collection ? a complete and utter joke... Customers choose same day click and collect to collect the same day not 5 days later. Absolutely incompetent, staff useless, customer useless. Will not be returning
