Staff awful in here!! Leave security tags on items have no interest in helping you refuse to give receipt so u can scan on app refuse to help u generally awful customer service if I could give 0 stars I would
Alarms were set off upon leaving but I was still ushered out of the store staff are more concerned about discussing social plans even when serving customers, and u are also followed around the store like u have your own personal shopper!! They make it so blatant that they think u are going to steal!!! Customer service is shocking

Lack of satisfactory customer service was experienced during my recent visit to purchase a pair of trainers. The purchasing procedure resembled that of a street market, lacking the expected professionalism in the selling process.

I wasn't going to write a review, because I felt bad but looking at the other reviews we are all experiencing the same thing so I might aswell share.. I think the store was better 3 years ago. It has gone down hill since, inadequate training clearly. On this occasion, I went into the store, I waited patiently for the members to finish talking, this nice man he was quite short, pale skin slicked back hair, was being helpful and was performing adequate customer service, he sent me over to his manager, but the manager couldn't speak English well, but she was the manager, I thought to myself. Why would someone be the manager but can't understand my simple question. I kept explaining but my question wasn't getting answered and it is like she couldn't comprehend the question I was asking. You would think it was me who didn't know English. Still puzzled, the man came over to help again and was kind and actually answered the query and so I picked another set. It all was ruined by the women who was at the till around 2:44pm, she was short a little stubby look to be of a asian background, when I went up to the till, she showed no sign of friendliness, and actually snatched the clothes out of my hands. I was in complete utter shock, I debated walking out or complaining to someone, there was no 'hi, how can I help?' no, 'Hello how are you' Nothing just a rude snatch. She didn't fold my clothes either, just wrapped them up. Like, Sorry that was so mean. When I also approached she was just looking at me not saying hi or anything just in a mean stare. Does she not know that with customer service you are meant to be kind, that is what makes customers want to come back, Absolutely awful, sorry won't be shopping here again.

Asked an assistant about a certain pair of trainers; "I don't know" was the reply from an assistant actually in the trainer area, while hardly looking at me. "Can you check?" He asks a colleague..."I don't know...if we do, they will be on display".
"Can you look them up on the system?" The reply - with a can't be bothered attitude, "No, if they aren't there, we don't have them".
Surely a company that promotes themselves as, "king of trainers" should have staff that have some knowledge and customer contact skills?? Perhaps a, "what are you after sir? What do you need them for? I may be able to find something similar for you" would be a start??
Thing is, management won't look at this review, let alone acknowledge me or try and change things.

Absolutely third class service. The staff don't know what they are doing and have no clue. Just a bunch of clueless lemons. Avoid this store They charge you a lot but don't invest in quality staff. Frustrating experience

JD needs to train their managers well.
The lady manager today in JD uxbridge walked off instead of dealing with the situation and threatened to call the security.
I?m extremely frustrated with this experience, And I will be taking this further. JD needs to respect their policies and train their staff and get the goons off their floors.
