I recently visited costa and was surprised by the unprofessional behaviour of one of the managers. While the company seems to have potential, I witnessed the manager being unnecessarily rude and dismissive to junior employees. It's disheartening to see someone in a leadership position treat their team with such disrespect, especially when it's clear that a supportive environment leads to better performance and morale. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as fostering a positive work culture is essential for both staff and customers.

My sister working in this costa. Her manager(Alice) is very rude to her and my sister is mentally upset because of her. It was her first job in Uk and this rudeness affected her a lot.
Very bad from someone who rude and attack personally on work.

Assistant manager of this costa(Alice) is very rude to junior employees. She attached personally on profession and pointing finger every time when she talk to junior staff. She dont have any capability to be a manager of any staff .My fiancée started working there from last 3 days and she is new to country and it was her first job. Because of her new girl in the country had very bad experience of work in uk. Its affected her mental and confidence.
I hope senior manager of Alice can look into this matter. Because i checked other reviews and they also had same complains against her.

A bit of a McDonald?s sauce experience. So ordered my drink on a few occasions but they never put enough syrup in. I have to always ask for more. They don?t have tissues on the counter, you have to ask. My daughter dropped some of her drink and when I asked for more tissue, I got a rude look. Will consider going to another costa as this one is quite hit and miss.

I was served by a lady whose name I believe was Heny who was really lovely and kind!?However, I was really upset to see the way management was speaking to and treating their staff. From what I witnessed during the short time I was there made me feel really uncomfortable and not want to return to the branch. I feel as if something should be done as the way in which the employees were being spoken to was unacceptable!

This is the second time I have been to this branch recently, and I noticed the atomsphere changing from ambient to very tense when the manager was trying to demonstrate to a member of staff how to make a drink. She started by saying no not like this in a rude way to the staff very abruptly.The poor lady was just taking the abusive treatment. I remember this manager serving me a few years a go and she was rude to me and I stopped going in this branch. The is issue here with this manager. I think Costa needs to address inappropiate practices in the work place at this branch.
