Exceptional Service from Joan!I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by Joan at Tesco, and I must say her service was outstanding. Joan went above and beyond to help me find what I needed, offering valuable suggestions and ensuring I had a positive shopping experience. Her kindness and attention to detail truly stood out. Tesco is fortunate to have such a dedicated and helpful staff member like Joan. Keep up the excellent work!

Ok the reason why I'm making a formal complaint is because the attitude of your member of management teamI was overcharged for Tesco's cream of tomatoes soup @ 0.45p tickets price That was charged 67 p It wasn't your huge amount but that isn't the point customers always right and your ticket was incorrectAs I was actually working in the area we didn't take no notice of the till receipt But we did realise later on in the eveningSo I returned back to the shop around about 9:00 pm It's going to look for a member of staff and I was hoping this was going to be an easy procedure as it's an easy mistake to obviously miss a ticketNo it certainly wasn't easy I spoke to one member staff and she directed me to a man he replied that customer service is now closed and you'll have to come backI said no I won't be coming back as I don't live local I requested to speak to a manager he said I am the managerI said ok fine can you do this refund the difference then I've explained that you've overcharged me and your ticket is wrong he made it very awkward to actually do the refund but after 10 minutes he did finally did me a refund of £1.98I like how he quoted that customer should check their tickets straight away another lady quoted that did you use your Tesco club card of course I did why does that make a difference to a refund procedure ??Basically really showing you up as a company to be honest and really needs to be re trained in basic customer service !!! Honestly I will be putting a one-star review on GoogleSo that is the reason why I'm making a formal complaint and I think I should be compensated for my time and effort going for a very simple procedure with your store I'm not very happy as a customer and I used Tesco's all the time

Very large. Lots of choice from food, to clothes and household needs. Large carpark. I visited late, and as such, it was empty. This reduces trolley rage and the chances of becoming close to other consumers. Staff were scarce. Detest the self-service machines that are forced onto us. Cost of items as you would expect is high. Well how else do you think Tesco can post huge profit announcements annually?!That said, I found what I wanted and ignored the drunk beggar outside because I could and I wanted to.

Toilets were absolutely disgusting, wanted to puke whilst in there. They clearly are not cleaned on a regular basis! Also 2 members of staff completely ignored me when I asked them a question! When I asked why they ignored me I was told ?my shift is finished now!!? Clearly not much customer service training happening in store!

Negative experience shopping here at Tesco-Lea Valley. Store manager needs to improve in efficiency:1. Drivers obstructing by parking on double yellow lines, in front of the store. Out of control. Also it is crazy to have barrier at the first entrance where drivers used to enter instead of all going to the main gate, causing traffic.2. In Post lockers were broken into by thieves. Reported to the Tesco Security- who was dismissive, could not care or less.3. Extremely poor customer service in general at the store.

Horrendous experience, Staffs who are putting away put backs are shouting from one end to another to talk to the staffs at self outs.whilst trying to scan items in the morning in self check outs, all you can hear is staffs talking so loud over your shoulder. Its So Annoying! And to top it up.. you have to wait for them to finish talking and walk like a snail to attend to you when the till is asking for assistance. When you call them more than once they come rudely and say be patient!! People are rushing to get to work or on a school run so its not acceptable!!& How about managers keep an eye and tell your staffs to do their jobs!! Customers are in a rush at times no on has 8 hours to waste like your staffs who are on shift!!The staffs who do put backs in the morning are taking up the whole Isle cannot get past and no appoligse from them. I wonder where the safety policy is? Trolleys and baskets all over the place. Its so dangerous you can easily bump into it or trip over!!Also a Big oversized fella on self service trolley section in the mornings mostly seems lost and over confident when talking to his colleagues but doesn't seem to have the decency to smile at customers.I wonder why no one is wearing a name badge, is it to avoid customers from getting your name's and making complaints to head office??

Worst customer service. Went there to return something that I bought a week ago, and they said I had to go to the till to get a receipt, went to the till and the lady would say you have to go to customer service, went back to customer service and they sent me back to the till. I was going up and down for 45 min till one nice lady helped me out. This was a nightmare

This tesco's staff are useless to customers they have no understanding of customer service. They only know how to do shelving.1 skinny short Asian lady who looked like she was on drugs or something on customer service tills on 12/10/2023 was rude and un responsive to me when i was talking to her. Felt as if she was racist or something im not sure. She was not smiling or talking to me or even bothered in giving me any instructions. Such as when to insert card or even saying thank you or is there anything else, Have a good day, bye. She said Nothing at all, she was the worst person an employer can have on customer service tills. I asked her about a product she just looked at me and ignored me asif to say don't talk to me. Then she started talking to her colleagues about stuff.. when me a customer is still waiting and people are in the queue.Tesco Store manger, put proper team members who are trained on customer service and have the skills to treat all customers equally and fairly with respect Regardless of age, gender, religion or colour. And who will be fair and smile to all customers including the young.Or remove them because it seems like you can't be bothered to do you job or keep track of your staffs attitude and behaviour towards customers.This stores mangers, supervisor's and team leaders are usless they are getting paid for nothing. They dont attend to customers needs or encourage the team to interact with all the customers fairly.I have seen the staffs talk to certain customers but not all which could be classified as discrimination or racist. I have seen The staffs talk and laugh with a handful of customers but they dont do the same with all the customers, Why is that?The staffs are not trained on customer service at all. All the supervisor's and team leaders do is chit chat and faf around and waste time to get paid for nothing!plus they stand around chit chatting with team members too. And they chit chat so loud it's frustrating they even take up space so you have to squeeze past them!! they don't even have the respect to stand in one side or move out the way or even appoligse. You have to apologise to get them to move. Its so Ridiculous!Because of poor management customers are getting left out from receiving proper service.This tesco runs because of loyal customers like me, Who spends tens of thousands of pounds in it every year for donkeys years now.Not once can i say i have I felt as if they remember my face or appreciate me shopping there. Although i go to this store almost everyday! yet I get useless customer service from them all the time.I hate spending my money in this store but as its the closest one to me and has things I require, I go it it.However people coming from far away avoid it go somewhere else customer service is rubbish in this place and the team leaders and supervisor's are a joke. poorly managed.You cannot tell who is a team leader or a supervisor and you cannot see any manger around to even make a complaint. None of the team members or managers are wearing name badges so you can't even get their names!The security guards this tesco has are also useless. They are standing around using there phones or just staring at innocent customers to pretend as if they are doing something, Ridiculous. They are also not smiling or interacting with customers.This tesco needs to treat all customers fairly and equally regardless of age, gender, colour and learn to smile!Supervisor's and team leads needs to stop chit chatting all the time around the tills and self check outs with other team members!!!! and stop taking up shop floor space with put backs in trolleys and baskets!!Lastly stop talking and laughing so loud have respect for customers who want to shop in peace!
