My sons went and said the food is delicious however the staff just stood there and talked and took 18mins to make 2 burgers some chips and some hashbrowns

Nowhere near as good as it used to be. Food not very hot. Expensive.
This can be said for any Wimpy.
Sad really.

Recently renovated and looking like a classic American diner, this is a rare treat. Great food - particularly the quarterpounder in a brown bun.

Loved the atmosphere and the staff were amazing! The food was good but the cheese on my burger wasn't melted. It's a tad expensive but a good experience overallKid-friendliness: Great! The staff are nice and it's easy to order too

Wow, I hadn't been in one of these in years, many years. The attention to detail far exceeded my expectation for a Wimpy. The staff obviously made the difference here, and I realise that. The staff here are a true credit ?. The restaurant was clean and tidy with everything in its place. If like me you too haven't been in a Wimpy for many years pop into the Upminster one and be pleasantly surprised.
