The few times that I've donated things the staff have always been exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

Unfortunately, I?ve just turned up and for the 5th time in the past few months, the staff have closed and locked the place over half an hour early.
It?s a constant habit I haven?t found in any other charity shop in ANY area across the UK (Cambridge, Kent, Chelmsford, Inverness, Bath, etc), and a shame as they?re just losing money and disappointing customers. I shouldn?t be turning up 40 minutes before closing and finding the door locked, on multiple occasions, with staff refusing to let me in, it?s unacceptable and I don?t think I?m being dramatic. If any shop has a problem where they won?t be staffed, they put this up in the window.
If the volunteers don?t want to work that long, the manager should have a serious conversation and change the opening times. As a warning to everyone, don?t even bother if it?s within an hour of ?official? closing time. Apologies to the manager who has always been nothing but friendly, but this practice is not on.

Well run and friendly. There is a lot to see here, the stock is well presented and quality is better than average.

The manageress with the blonde hair with the cockney accent is on the fiddle there, all I can say is jewellery and antiques get donated to the shop and she carries a lot with her every night with all her family who 'work' there ! Bring back the ex copper assistant manager with the glasses she was really good and told the shoplifters where to get off and smiled and said thank you when buying from the shop!
