The staff are always so welcoming, my coffee order changes all the time, and every drink is made perfectly. ?

I have to say although the scones look great, try cutting them in half and they just crumble into pieces unfortunately. They need more liquid in my view.

The almond croissant was buttery, crisp, and full of rich almond flavor ? absolutely perfect! And the carrot cake? So moist and perfectly spiced. Sweetness done right!

The coffee wasn?t good, didn?t end up drinking it. Unfortunately the almond croissants weren?t good either, lacking in flavour and wouldn?t call them croissants. The texture was more like squashed cake, and one of them had a random raisin baked into it. Such a shame as service was friendly!

Coffee and cake taste good but why do people say it is cheap? It is not. £3.5 for a latte? And the cake.. Total was £8.5

A small bakery on whitton high street.
My partner and I decided to visit it past weekend as its outdoor sitting area is always buzzing with life. It left us with a positive possibility of grabbing a light snack and a drink before continuing on our merry shopping way.
Barely any pastries were left (Sunday afternoon so completely understandable) so we opted out for just two coffees. The quality of the drinks was average but the girls at the till were lovely and served in a quick and polite manner.
Unfortunately the glaring issue was the property manager who sat sulking at one of the main indoor seats on his laptop. His attitude could be felt even while sitting away and observing his interactions with the girls. His eyes scanning for any mistake inside the bar area as he continued to do jack all himself, not caring about helping, cleaning or possibly just getting to chat with the locals.
Needless to say we won't be visiting again. A passionless leader leads to dull half done projects as is apparent by the cafes interior.

This was the second time that we have been here and were met with staff who just didn?t want us to be there. Went across the road to Cafe Venice which was wonderful, really pleasant staff and lovely food. Would highly recommend getting to My Bakery crossing the road and spending your money on the sunny side of the street. Would not go back to My Bakery.

Love this place. A small independent bakery with an excellent kitchen that offers a perfect all-day menu.

All of this costs about 7000 yen in Japanese yen. The amount of food was more than I expected and it was delicious. Maybe the owner is French? It was friendly!
If I had to say one thing, it felt like I waited 40 minutes for all the dishes to arrive. But it was delicious so it's totally acceptable ????

As a bread critic, I have been eating bread from all over the world and have come to the conclusion that Japan is the best, but the bread here is of Japanese class. I will praise you and send you.

Almond Croissant! Is it a croissant? Is it a doughnut? It doesn?t matter, it?s f??#!ng delicious!
My initial visit was after a friend?s recommendation. I find this establishment slightly quirky in layout, with produce in the window behind you, and the server behind the till in front of you, who has to walk around to the window to bag up each item. Seems laborious and unnecessary, but it?s not my shoe leather? This establishment has a boutique feel upon entry, and is a million miles from some of the other local cafes. While this is reflected in price, like so many other things in this world, what you pay is generally what you get. (Except the sausage roll, it?s bland, quite small and overpriced).
On one of my visits my server refused cash payment, with a gentleman sat at a table drinking coffee interrupting my conversation with my server, (and by doing so I assume he is the business owner), asking if I?m aware of what it costs to deposit cash into the bank.
This was an isolated incident.
Parking: Street parking available, believe up to two hours with no return within four, or something to that effect.

Think I would leave zero stars if there was an option. I have been avoiding this place because it's so expensive and the gentleman in glasses/presumably the manager is always so rude to me. I had to pop in to buy a loaf of bread last Saturday as Cavan sold out. It was so stale by Sunday evening, I couldn't even make lunch sandwiches for work and too stale to make a toast! I paid almost £5 for a loaf of old bread and once again, received terrible service from the manager. I hate wasting food so this was definitely my last visit there. Whitton deserves better!
