Despite its quaint size, WHSmith located on King Street, Twickenham, stands as a testament to the age-old adage, "size isn't everything." This shop delivers an exceptional retail experience tailored to cater to every stationary need one might encounter.Located in the heart of Twickenham, this WHSmith branch is easy to access and conveniently positioned. Immediately upon entering, you're greeted by an inviting atmosphere and the warm, friendly demeanor of the staff, who are always ready and willing to guide you through their well-organized and clean store. What this store lacks in size, it more than makes up for in the variety and quality of its offerings. In terms of stationary, the assortment is second to none. WHSmith Twickenham offers everything from basic pens and pencils to high-end writing instruments, an array of notebooks in every conceivable size and style, as well as a vast array of paper, envelopes, and specialty items. It's almost a certainty that you'll find what you're looking for, and more. What I particularly appreciate is how they've managed to optimize their space. Every square inch is thoughtfully used. The layout is intuitive, with clearly marked sections that make it easy for customers to find what they're looking for, even during peak times. Despite the compact size, it never feels crowded or cramped. Moreover, their services extend beyond just stationary. They have a good selection of books, magazines, snacks, and even some tech accessories. This WHSmith branch truly embodies the company's mission to be a one-stop-shop for your essential needs. However, the store does have some room for improvement. Given its size, it may not carry the same extensive range of books as larger branches, and at times, popular stationary items may run out due to high demand. In conclusion, WHSmith on King Street, Twickenham, is a small but mighty store that offers a comprehensive stationary selection that would satisfy even the most discerning customers. It might be small, but it's filled to the brim with quality and variety. This store is definitely a must-visit for those in the area. A four-star rating seems appropriate for this little gem in Twickenham.

They need more than one self-service till as the main one is often not occupied when the staff are putting out stock. I had to wait a long time to make a purchase.

I would not recommend WHSmith collection from anywhere. I ordered two online and WHSmith said I could collect within 1 week from this store. 6 weeks later I still hadn't received an email on any updates as to why it was delayed, I contacted customer services and they were still waiting on the store managers response for atleast a week. I am now in the process of trying to get my money back. Just extremely poor service, I could understand if they kept me in the loop, but there haven't been any updates and when I contacted them it is appalling service.Update: so after trying to cancel the order I was told I couldn't as it has already been shipped ( nearly 2 months after I had ordered it). I waited another week and still no book (old habits die hard I suppose). So after emailing once again I found out a few days later that it had been coincidentally 'lost in transit' and my order was finally cancelled and I was eventually refunded ...hallelujah.So I ordered from Amazon and it was there the next day?I don't normally leave bad reviews, but this was just overly terrible.

WH Smith's used to be the go to stationery store, great as a post office and for its extensive magazines and newspapers range. However, now it is an overpriced, under staffed (actually I seldom see a staff in this branch) and no one to answer phone. With only a self-serving counter operating and someone to just open and close the shop, the brand has lost its charm and definitely its services.

Don't use this WHSmiths for DHL services - waited 20 minutes for them to look for the DHL tablet to be told vaguely come back later - no time approximations, no contact info. I needed my documents to be sent that day. I went elsewhere.

Had to send a parcel via DHL. Really friendly and helpful people. Later edit: same place (twickenham) failed to hand over my parcel to DHL for 6 (SIX) consecutive days. Had to call DHL cause my package still hasn't arrived by Tuesday. Terrible service!!!

Not the best branch of Smiths unfortunately. Fairly small and there always seems to be a skeleton staff. In fact there can often appear to be just one member of staff, who seems to know almost nothing about the contents of the shop. Also, increasingly random selection of goods - which are piled everywhere - makes the checkout look like a third world bazaar. Still, they do sell stamps - which saves a visit to the local post office - and the selection of greetings cards is decent.
