I visited this store for the first time a week ago to purchase some toys for my cat and was given a nice warm welcome from one of the owners who immediately offered me assistance.They have a great selection of products and my cat was definitely impressed with my initial haul, so much so that I felt compelled to order more online!The delivery of my online order was incredibly prompt (faster than Amazon) with no issues whatsoever.Independent pet stores are quite few and far between these days, especially ones that go above and beyond! I could not recommend this store any more; whether you are popping in or ordering online you will not be disappointed.

The woman in there is awful! Out of desperation I?ve had to go there a few times in the past few years for fish food and each time she?s been so rude and snarky! Word of advice! If you hate your job so much quit!

The staff here are absolutely lovely and always help with choosing the right product for our dog. She loves their natural food range not to mention the brilliant variety of treats. Would definitely recommend for a wide choice of great quality pet goodies! We also love our new harness it's a perfect fit :)

A good range of products, friendly staff and kept clean, however these good qualities are let down by the inadequate enclosures for the in-store birds and rodents. I saw two budgies and a finch in separate cages about 30x30cm, going absolutely spare confined with little to no room to fly, or toys to play with. Also, the rodent cages were filled with sawdust, which is proven to cause breathing issues. Soft paper bedding is far superior. I hope you will consider making some changes to improve the quality of life for these animals.*edit: I am sorry if I have caused offence; my intention was not to insult; I am an animal lover, like yourself, who has made an observation and suggestion. The Rabbit Welfare Association and Fund (RWAF) advises against the use of sawdust for rabbits in particular due to irritation. I am wrong about the exact measurements; it was an estimation (?about 30x30cm?). The RSPCA states that the minimum length of a bird cage should permit two wing beats between perches, and three times their wing span, doubled per bird. I do not pretend to be an expert, but I hope you will look into what I have said here to check this. Whilst I have increased my review by one star out of respect to you and your business, I do not appreciate being accused of cowardice for voicing concerns for animal welfare online, even if I am wrong on a few points.

My girlfriend has just brought a lovely little hamster called Yui, got a cage, water bottle, ball, food the lot for about £80, very kind staff and lovely dog. I definitely recommend this place if you're local

We have been going to this pet shop since they opened, 10+ years ago! The two ladies are the most lovely people, they always remember us and our dog is spoilt with a little treat upon entry (which may be why he drags us all along the high street to get to the pet shop!!). They will go above and beyond to help with any enquires and you can tell they really care! There is a great community spirit about them, always getting involved in neighbourhood activities- plus at Christmas, they have a beautiful window snow display. The shop is also spotless! I highly highly recommend them!

Brilliant pet centre, we bought our first hamster from here and the lady was very knowledgeable and provided us with anything we would need. Overall a great experience and well cared for animals.

JUST TERRIBLE. I went there about 8 months ago, and the lady was very bossy and rude! The hamsters where in cruel box like cages and I saw many DEAD fish! TWO RABBITS WHERE STUCK IN A HAMSTER CAGE! My hamster was VERY unhealthy! She is now a beautiful hamster after vet care. Please do not go there!
