Compared to the price of hotels in London, this one is really economical. It is located right next to a metro station, so very convenient for getting around, 15 minutes from the airport and 45 minutes from central London. In addition it is on the Piccaddilly line which stops at almost all the points of interest in London. The room was large, clean and quiet, comfortable bed, good bathroom, no fridge and free wifi only 30 mins. There is a small town center 5 minutes from the hotel with quite a few shops and restaurants. Excellent value for money.

Great stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, close to attractions and dining. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, big thanks to Melanie and Menesha at reception. The amenities, especially the TV. Highly recommend for a wonderful and convenient stay!

Great location if you are going to LHR.Rooms pretty standard for Travelodge.Service poor. One person on their mobile at the front desk while the other served a queue. At least do it out of sight. No glasses in the room. Not even plastic. When I asked for a wine glass in the bar they said they had none. All they could offer was a pint glass which I had to wash as it was filthy.Noteworthy details: Good for Heathrow Airport.

We stayed here the night before taking a flight from Heathrow. It cost £1.90 on the tube to complete the journey the next day.The room was cool on a hot day and there was a fan for overnight. The staff were excellent (aren't they normally in a Travelodge,Breakfast was good.Travelodge are so much better value and have far better staff than Premier Inn. Breakfasts are consistently better than anything associated with Premier Inn. And they are normally far better priced.Walkability: Hounslow town centre is across the road and there is a Wetherspoons 5 minutes walk away.

Only complaints at the moment are bedside USB Chargers which don't function properly and the tiny TVs still in the new refurbished rooms. Staff have been great so far.Update: I suffer from epilepsy and need to drink a lot of water daily to help keep things balanced, as well as for my medication. There's no basic service for access to water here at the moment. It's very frustrating. Staff refuse to help either.Rooms: No problems, small shower, nice & warm, quiet at night time, both inside and surrounding streets.Food & drinks: Expensive, go elsewhere.

In the last year this hotel has gone downhill. I have stayed here many times for work but this time was awful, rude receptionist, waited 15 minutes at the bar to be served, breakfast equipment not working therefore no toast, housing homeless people and the outside of the hotel is covered in bird poo and is filthy

The young lady at reception Manisha is the right person for the job. Excellent customer service, with a very good professional friendly attitude, she was super helpful, if only everybody could be like her. It was my first visit to Travelodge and I will be back, when next in the area.

Typical Travelodge. Rooms are basic, but in good order and you can make yourself a cup of tea. Breakfast was good quality and value for money. We found the staff particularly helpful and accommodating. We booked early so got a good price. It is very close to the tube station, so ideal for the airport. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.

Welcome was nice and friendly, staff were polite ?.. but that is where it ends, hottest September day ever and the air conditioning had purposely been disconnected, the most awful nights sleep ever outside of the home. Instead of waking up refreshed for a morning flight I just wanted sleep I was so tired. Their new slogan or customer phrase ?nice to see your smiling face? at best can be seen as sarcasm, and to add insult to injury their was no gell or even hand soap to have a cool down , clean up, refreshing shower. Probably the worst hotel stay ever. Breakfast was poor too.

Having stayed at Travelodge Hounslow once or twice a year for more than ten years, it has declined in my estimation. Prices are up, employees in reception frequently have a poor grasp of the English language and are fond of quoting the rule book at you. I have always been irritated at having to pay for WiFi. The place has become cold and unfriendly, a pity because its location, minutes from the metro station, should should make it an ideal destination. Time to search for alternatives?

The hotel was just clean enough, but really needed more attention. Important things like the best were clean, but skirting boards and edges of carpets were not.The bathroom had clearly been wiped down as dirty cloth marks were evident in all the corners. Better than nothing I suppose. The check in staff were not that brilliant. The only polite member of staff was the morning housekeeping/breakfast assistant.Breakfast was tasty but too expensive.Rooms were comfortable overall but were just lacking. It may have won TripAdvisor awards in the past but I certainly won't stay here on my way to Heathrow again.Walkability: Less than 5 minutes walk from Hounslow Central Tube station.

Brilliant location, comfy bed and brilliant service. Just what you need for a good night's sleep. Tube is a 2 min walk from hotel. Very good!

In my opinion this place is the worst Travelodge I have ever been to. I have to literally go outside just to use the internet ( keep in mind I have a mini Vodafone box and it works perfectly). My room carpet when I first came here was so muddy and dirty even the mugs and spoons were so sticky like they were never washed properly.Nearby activities: You can go swimming and go to a library at the Hounslow houseFood & drinks: Treaty center is really close and so is bell corner
