Lovely friendly staff at reception ? Nice room on 2nd floor with a good shower ? Great location right next to Twickenham Train Station. 2 minutes walk to all the shops and restaurants on Church Street. Highly recommended ? Very affordable price.

A grand Hotel with 9 floors, it can be seen from Twickenham Train Station, it has a street entrance and a parking lot entrance. The surrounding buildings look expensive high density, a mix of greyscale bricks and aluminium clad.

I've just checked out this morning and have to say the overall experience I had during my one night stay was very good. Much better than I had expected having read the recent reviews.
Even taking into consideration the budget price, the room was a good size, clean, the bed was comfortable.
The dinner and breakfast, though not as good as Premier Inn's, were adequate for the price and the staff on reception and in the dining area were polite and attentive. Not much to improve on in all honesty.

Bedroom comes with a fan and tea/coffee facilities, however my room had a mild stench. The pillows were not very comfy and there isn't a bedside table, only a tiny bit of wall jutting out to put a tiny phone on. The shower curtain is practically useless as the floor floods anyway and the sink clogged as there was grime build up in the drain. The sink also smelled as well. Good location though as it's right next to Twickenham train station. Rooms should be cheaper.

Awful. Was given a basement room which I specifically ask not to be put in as I said I didn?t feel safe down there as a lone woman but was told hotel was ?full?. On arrival in my room I search the internet and found that the hotel did still have rooms available for that night.
I hated my stay there, I didn?t sleep because I felt vulnerable and was very disappointed that I was let down by the staff who lied to me

Stayed at Travelodge Twickenham and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. I was bitten by some kind of pest during the night, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable. I tried to raise this with customer service but received no response, and when calling the hotel directly I was hung up on twice. Very disappointed with both the cleanliness and the lack of care shown ? would strongly advise avoiding this location.

Good location, if you've ear plugs. A decent breakfast buffet. However, bed was lumpy and there was no air-conditioning, plus we asked one woman 3 times for a fan. Each time she promised very nicely to bring it up, or put it in the room while we were out. No joy. The next time we went to Reception, she'd gone. We asked someone else and were brought a fan quickly enough.

The location is really convenient but one drawback is there?s no fridge and air conditioning.

A basic 2star hotel where you get what you expect and need for a short stay of one or two nights. No cupboard or toilet brush in my room (might be better in the more expensive ones), also no stores to prevent people looking into your window! Breakfast is good, though. Best feature is closeness to railway station if you want to go to London. Fairly quiet at night between 11 pm and 5 am, when planes stop going down to Heathrow.

I had left £500 worth of clothing in my room and informed them the same day they said they never found anything over the phone for the whole weekend. On Monday i checked back in as I work in the local area. I asked to speak to the manager which then she told me that it had been recovered and been put in a bag in house keeping as someone messaged her on WhatsApp this. She said everyone has a look but nothing is down there. So the cleaners or some member of staff has stolen a Louis Vuitton belt, true religion jeans and an expensive top. They are gave me no help or reassurance during the whole situation and she has made comments that totally disregarded the noted policies which Travelodge have. I have had to make a police report. Do not leave anything as they will steal it

My experience is a mix of taste of their service and room.
Few of the guys working at the reception dont even know customer greet.
Rooms are small, bad odour rooms, unsafe for family with kids. Window is mounted on a unstable metal arm to control its movement. Somewhat feels risky.
Lift for disabled is broken.

Very basic room no A/C bathroom needs updating and was very small. My kettle wasn't working but staff bought another one but didn't top the refreshments up so not much point. The bed was comfy and there were extra pillows in the room. It was ok if your looking for budget and mainly concerned about visiting places. However don't eat there breakfast wasn't very fresh at all. Location was great next door to the train station.

Had to switch rooms because of a plugged toilet, rather than address the problem we had to waste time switching rooms. The wi-fi needs to be paid for, yet it drops more frequently than an Essex girls skirt. The vending machine was devoid of water. The room chair was complete with used dried out chewing gum. No telling how long it had been there. There is no a/c in the rooms. Basement room with no view. The staff is completely inadequate. I would describe the room as extreme budget minded and if I could I wouldn't give it any stars. The location is a plus as it us next door to Twickenham Station which easily connects to the greater London area. Buses are also available nearby as well as numerous shops and a variety of restaurants.

Sadly not the best, stayed 3 nights and must have has 8 new key cards as constantly not working. Rooms were OK but no air con in 27 degrees was awful. Great location for the stadium and nice friendly staff but overall a poor visit
