Twickenham is our favourite Poundland Store. Jaya is an ambassador for the company, always greats me and my husband like family. Always friendly and helpful, she makes our visits special. The Twickenham store is well managed, stocked and a must visit place for us.

My reason for giving this one star is because I went to buy a balloon for a birthday, it was the last one in the shop. The woman on the till carelessly overdid the helium whilst distracted- talking to another staff member in another language, and it burst. She told me to get another one and I reiterated that it was the last one. She just stared at me blankly as if I was meant to do something. She didn?t even apologise. I finally suggested that I should try looking again, knowing it wouldn?t be there and came back to repeat the same information. After that she gave me attitude while giving me one pound refund?the balloon was two pounds. I had to go to Whitton in the end.
It?s not that hard to have basic manners or take initiative to help a customer.

Large store with lots of products and clothing and food

Extremely rude Indian lady at till working - she accused my husband that he was wrong with the price of the item he was about to purchase, but actually the shop had the wrong price label. Other staff were helpful. Please fire her, you cannot allow such rude aggressive behaviour to customers who are just trying to buy things in peace. Chill out.

I liked it much better before, when they didn't offer clothes, groceries, etc.
They had more assortment of gardening, cleaning, etc.

Very clean and well stocked shop. The whole team is working very hard to make products easily accessible and well exposed. I would love to appreciate Jaya who is always very helpful and positive. It?s such good worker!

Poundland is'nt as good as it used to be, they seem to have less things than they used to do, and seem to be constantly stocking shelves in the isles, which is normal though today some lady was doing this and taking up a lot of space, unnecessary! Also they have changed the layout when you enter, which is obstructive and makes going to aisles not possible, so bored and nothing better to do!
Also some Indian lady in charge at till has a tendency to screatch at people in a high voice or her staff, this does not look good. Also the self-service tills mostly have card only on them, when the take cash?! Get this sorted it happens far too much, I'm fed up with it!
Yes they have a lot of things though it not about quantity, quality matters.
