Only bank open on Tuesday Thursday and Friday. Not very busy on those days so you are seen quickly .

Everything seems to be going downhill. ISAs dealt with at counter so that everyone in the queue can hear what your annual income is plus it holds everyone else up as it's quite a slow business. Things were great last year when you were dealt with on your own at a desk at the side, out of hearing of other customers. Opening hours cut down. Used to be a place I recommended to others. Also I read that ISA interest is no longer paid into another account. I'm used to monthly interest paid into my flexi which is part of my income. This is no longer a bank that cares for people. As for the phone system, it's run by robots! If you don't say the right thing they say 'Goodbye' any idea how frustrating that is when you have a query? Most of us want to speak to a human being. No wonder stress levels are high nowadays.
Rant over for now. (and no, I have no intention of doing online banking)!

How can there be a cashpoint with no cash?

I was told by Debbie, I am no longer able to sit at a desk/table to discuss my finances with a member of staff, such as ISA renewals and placing funds into a fixed rate bond and transferring my current account to yourselves and to help me set up the Nationwide app on my phone.
Everything is now executed at the counter, where members of the public can over hear conversations whilst queuing.
Plus, I am unable to stand for a long period of time.
This is a disgraceful service.

Called in to sort out a technical problem with setting up a transfer and was dealt with promptly and courteously. Well done.

Partner with disability hasn't access to a card so if Twickenham branch is closed and they can't travel..can't work a laptop or mobile phone. Maybe the atms should have an emergency access.. as money is needed on a day to day basis when the branch is only issuing small amounts daily ... from their account.Going there daily isn't ideal for some !!Unfortunately.. its rather upsetting for them creating stress, unable to travel elsewhere either ... getting them into debt.. owing others cash not returned isn't ideal way in this case or them going without (if my help isn't around to then borrow cash from)Family members who haven't helped out in this case (as theyre rightfully no longer able to be accessing the account and retaining some of the money for themselves as before) some access is required by the person in question .. when branch is closed as it has been a few time at short notice ..Staff shortages, catching covid, school holidays and recently cancelled trains/Travel due to high winds and the hurricane Eunice all causing closure..This branch is needed to be staffed !

Rude and very unprofessional staff at the Twickenham branch. All three members of staff had no clue what they were doing and because of their incompetence they got angry with me. I will Take my business elsewhere and would not recommend any bank at this branch.

Rather small and pokey branch but it has everything you need. And the Nationwide is a national treasure: our last building society - which means it is run for the benefit of its customers not its shareholders. It's also one of the best providers of added benefits accounts.
