visited following their refurb. wont be shopping here anymore as i was prevented from leaving as i didnt take the receipt (which is illegal). also bought a seeded loaf for £2, lidl you are not good quality nor are you cheap anymore

The new renovation is welcome with the store holding a larger range of products although stock levels seem to be low in some areas. It is a shame that it's only down to one checkout though.

Out of all the staff at this branch, one employee is good. The rest leave a lot to be desired. Today one of their employees lost me £10 voucher. I went to the self service till as usual and scanned my Lidle barcode, the first item I put was the pack of 6 crisps bag and the scales did not acknowledge it. I turned around and asked for help, I only saw this guys once or twice before. He did not look happy that I asked him to help, he said " why are you shopping at the self service, the till is open and manned and you have a lot of items, go to the the till." I told him I already scanned my Lidl bar code and there is a £10 pound voucher on it. "He said it does not matter at the till scan your bar code again." At the till, my total came to nearly £45 so I asked the man at the till why is my voucher not used? He could not answer me, he checked my phone and said there is no voucher. I asked the guy who told me to go to the till instead of the self service till if he cancelled my logging before asking any customer to use the same till. He blatantly looked at me with blank look and said he died not know what till I am talking about. I paid my bill and walked away. At home I received the usual message you get from lidle when you shop and it is showing two transactions, the one I paid for £40+ and another one which I have no idea a out. In that second one, someone bought three items or so an the total came to £13+ but only paid £3 + as he or she used my £10 voucher. Thanks a lot Lidl Whitton for nothing. Try and employ better people at that branch.

Many options for food with great prices. I once got a steak and it looked like a wagyu steak and tasted like one as well.

I often come to buy from this lidl shop, today decided to buy some pizza, I bought two different tastes, they only have two, they were half cooked for real, the bakery was like a gum, I was so disappointed, please nice people working there, leave it inside the oven a little longer next time, I had to throw it

Not a bad selection of products and certainly price competitive, but produce is not fresh at all. They typically get mouldy in the fridge after two days and I very often see mould on fruits and vegetables in store.
