Feeling a bit cheated by £10 "Build my bike" charge to be honest.
The wheels were not pumped up showing 0 psi rather than 40 psi.
The front reflector was pointing at the sky.
I brake levers were pointing downwards and the brakes needed adjusting.
The handlebar was loose.
And last but not least the bell was fitted the wrong way round.
Save your money and put the bike together yourself.

Very poor experience as visited store today for trade in appointment. First they said these are not their bike when I challenged the person about this then other person get involved who say he is manager and his colleague is new but he stays silent when his colleague 3 times declined to accept these are Halfords bikes. Even 1 bike was bought from same store few years back. This is second time in last 2 weeks I had bad experience with Halfords. Even when I asked for provide written reason to another Manager then he was very aggressive and was trying to provoke me to further arguments so they can use their security team. Even same bikes last was assessed by other store in Ruislip and they categorized then B-C or C-D. When I asked them to speak to customer service and person who was saying he Manager said their customer service don't know anything and they in South Africa and don't know how business runs here. I explained all this to customer service and then provided me complain reference number, but I am very certain nothing will happen to that complain. I felt visiting 2 stores for Trade-In, I believe Halford really don't want to do any trade-in but not sure why they offering this service. So been very loyal customer to Halfords over 20 years it's time to look somewhere else for future purchases.

Wowwww so when I come in as a customer, One female staff was leaving finishing up for Work, who was previously at the till, though we didn?t have an eye contact but she was leaving so I don?t blame her. She went in the back to get her stuff to be going home. Two other guys, white and male came in and saw me waiting for assistance ( these are members of staff) also decided that they should exit the store and go outside to talk to each other and so I was just left standing there like a big toe. I?m making me think it?s because I am a black woman. That felt racist and rude. To be left standing there with no assistance in a store I don?t know that well. I feel as though the staff need better training in customer service . After the woman came back from getting her stuff, she saw that I was still unattended and began to help me, she was apologetic . Even though there were multiple workers there able to, still on shift, but they would rather have a lads chat than help a customer

I gave them display box and purchased the jump pack I didn't notice it was different to the one I gave him and to go back to change it for the correct one not my mistake but will cost me to sort there mistake again

I purchased a mountain bike and rode it home, only to have the bell fall off mid-ride because it wasn?t properly tightened. The next day, while riding, the handlebars suddenly twisted, nearly causing me to crash in front of a bus. It?s extremely disappointing to pay for assembly only to receive such poor workmanship.
I hesitated to leave this review, but after reporting the issue on March 5th, I was assured I?d be contacted and that the problem would be resolved within 48 hours. It?s now March 10th, and I?ve received no response from Halfords.
Now, I have no choice but to take my brand-new bike to a local shop to have it fixed properly. I will never shop here again, and I sincerely hope no one else has to experience such a dangerous situation.

I was offered puncture repair protection at discounted rate of £4 per wheel as long as I signed up to the maintenance plan.
This was completely different to the courtesy call I got a couple days before collection of the bike offering half price puncture protection without any caveats.
Someone is not being honest but it felt like I was just trying to get upsold on the attach services so I politely declined.
The grade B bike I picked up was also in much worse condition than I expected, with sticker residue, sharp cable ties used for missing clips, and tatty handlebar plugs. Honestly not impressed, this should have been graded C based on your published descriptions.

First, I understand that the guys at Halfords have to be cautious when installing a new battery in a modern car. Lots of computers can malfunction during installation. However, when I ordered a new battery online for my car, the Halfords employee told me he couldn't install it, even though my failing battery needed a jump started before I left. I then spent two hours driving around to find a garage that would fit the battery, which a small high-street garage eventually did. I also need to point out that Halfords your diagnostic machine is outdated. I have a Hyundai. Your equipment only included Honda and Holden?not even Kia. Please update your equipment.

Great service by Daniel, pleasant, helpful and friendly, but always not enough staff serving at this large Halfords, so waiting times again always too long.

If I could do zero starts I would. I had an extremely disappointing experience at Halfords. The service was appalling. I was repeatedly sent from one person to another without any assistance or clear direction. I ended up waiting a long time without being helped, and when I finally received attention, it was dismissive at best. They didn?t offer any guidance on how to install screws with my registration plate, which is a basic thing they should know. Overall, the lack of customer care and the unhelpful attitude left me frustrated and dissatisfied. I won?t be returning anytime soon.

Will never spend another penny in Halfords again. Tyre popped while out on a ride, pushed the bike to Halfords for them to tell me that they will not change my innertube for me as it?s an electric bike but not purchased from them? I?ve had multiple tyres changed on the same bike across 3 different stores. It is a quick release back wheel with no motor attatched. The motor is in the crank no wires to the back what so ever. I explained that to them and told them that I?ve had wheels done there prior and they couldn?t care. Would rather me push my bike back home for an hour than go out their way to help someone. No problem I will never spend a single penny in Halfords ever again.

Absolute poor customer service. Ordered a bike to be built in store, selected my collection date - only for this to be disregarded. Then hassled by customer service to collect the bike early. Only to find out the bike has gone missing from stock and they?re unable to locate a replacement item.

Very poor customer service given by the lady who served me at the tills. She have no intention of serving customers and professionalism at all. I have been to other Halfords hope and this is the far worst I have been to.

A fairly large Halfords branch which a good range of stock. Sadly the store always seems to be understaffed, which really affects the quality of service here.
Thank you to Tom for fixing my bike, and for having such patience with customers. Despite being super busy, his attitude and customer service was excellent - he rescued what would have otherwise been a pretty poor experience for me.
