“I've really enjoyed both the bowling course, at Twickenham Bowling, and the Man in the Pan cooking course at St Marys Uni. The bowling was taught in the impressive indoor court at the friendly Twickenham Bowling Club. The instructors were good and within a few weeks, we would have a practice session and then a game. As a result, I have now joined a bowling club and hope to be a reasonable player by the end of the current season. The Man in the Pan is quite fun. We are split into groups of between three and four and given a recipe for a main course and a dessert. We then sit down and eat what we have cooked. I have learnt quite a lot from the course and I am much more experimental in my cooking. Thanks AgeUK, and Sue for organising these courses.”
