I been trading on selco since 2014-15 but i never see negative workers then at this selco, i do spend 100k a year at selco and the workers acting like i walk in today.
They are working against them self because one day they will start looking for new job. Rubbish ??

I can't find the words to thank Jolanta for her help in the paint department when choosing a color. I am a regular customer so I was not surprised by the nice service but on this day I was with my wife and Jolanta's smile and professionalism made my wife simply happy. Thank you

The female employee named CARMEN is a very bad employee. She did not help me at all. She was very rude to me. She also made me wait for hours to pay. I was not happy with her at all. and she is not a smiling employee at all.

Yard staff having fun, joking around. 4 people takes to load few bits to the truck. Take an hour to wait to be loaded. Unbelievable

Very bad experience with staff. Unhelpful and don't have the basic knowledge on operations.
A basic thing took hours to be resolved.

Selco Tottenham has a good range of building supplies and a reasonable selection of electrical products, but staff knowledge could be improved.
While looking for circuit breakers (MCBs) and unable to see them, I asked a staff member for help. She responded with, ?I don?t know what a breaker is.? I tried clarifying by mentioning the switches in a fuse board, but she still had no idea. She then had to radio for assistance, asking what a breaker was and where to send the customer. Meanwhile, nearby customers overheard the exchange and sniggered. Turned out they were behind the trade counter.
While I appreciate that she sought help, it?s surprising that someone working in a builders? merchant wouldn?t recognise such a basic electrical component.
Overall, the store is fine for materials, but don?t expect the staff to be knowledgeable about what they sell.

As a builder, I frequently visit Selco for my materials, and I have to say, it?s become one of my favorite places to shop. The variety of products they offer is impressive, from timber and insulation to tools and hardware. It?s a one-stop shop that saves me time and effort on the job.
Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting Tara, one of the staff members at Selco. I can?t express enough how much her assistance enhanced my shopping experience. Tara was not only knowledgeable about the products but also genuinely enthusiastic about helping me find exactly what I needed. She took the time to explain new products and offered recommendations that I hadn?t considered before.
What stood out the most was her friendly demeanor?she always had a smile on her face, which made the whole experience feel welcoming and enjoyable. It?s clear that Tara takes pride in her work and truly cares about her customers.
Overall, Selco provides a fantastic environment for builders like me, and having staff members like Tara makes all the difference. I highly recommend visiting Selco for your building material needs, and if you get a chance to work with Tara, you?re in great hands!

Customer service is terrible. Driver who does delivery disrespectful with client. I had experienced a few times. I had delivery which is I didn?t order and I want to collect and driver guy comes once he didn?t collect because he wanted to help but we already finished project no one was on the side And I said wait I will come and I will help you because it needs to be done but he said to me a lot of words am disrespectful and closed the pay not listening to me. second time I went to on site for help and I left my work then I wait 3 hours drivers called me. he said I will come after an hour you don?t need to wait I will collect afterwards I went to work but again he didn?t collect then I called manager in Totenham branch and they said; you have to collect yourself and we can?t help you.the collection is only 17 stone noting else which is 10 mins work. No one listen and no one help, it is really bad experience I have ever had, I would never recommend anyone to use selco.

Absolutely disrespectful two ladys (staffs), the lady on the till is working as she own the selco and whenever she doesn't want, she doesn't serve you, she doesn't even know how to spell an english word. then she ignores and off. A gentleman come to sereve me and almost process to the payment, another lady who is the supervisor did not let the gentleman to process my payment, said just leave it, go to break. So disrespectful, if someone do not take this matter seriously I will never go back to selco again, I promise!"
