Went in to buy a plug and gave the dimensions (4cm), but was recommended one that was slightly larger. I explained I was reluctant to buy it because I?d previously been sold one that was too big and didn?t fit, but was reassured it would ?squeeze in.? It didn?t.
On top of that, there was a queue of three of us waiting, while two staff members were tied up with one customer and another staff member was at a till doing something else. I?ve had a similar experience here before - three staff dealing with one customer for several minutes while a queue builds up.
Perhaps I?m getting impatient in my old age, but nothing should be so complicated that it needs multiple staff members for one customer while others are left waiting. Having to go back for a refund for a plug I was reluctant to buy in the first place is also frustrating - though I?ll admit that?s partly on me. Still, a bit of a disappointing experience overall.

After losing money and having a terrible experience at hanworth branch, it was a pleasant experience at this Wimbledon store. Just different ends of the scout. Pleasant clean store, everything in place staff that wants to help you, staff that actually know how to interact with customers. Actually had to go back again the next day and same again pleasant experience. Hanworth store needs to be closed down. Absolutely terrible staff apart from one little Asian lady on the till she was pleasant trying to hold it all together even though she wasn't a manager. You have staff lying to customers on the phone getting them to travel halfway across London to the store to be told they haven't got the items that they told you they did have on the phone.

Disappointing experience with the manager. I went to return two items without the till receipt but with credit card statement. The cashier called to check with the manager, who said she?d come to see me. I waited 10 mins at the till, the manager arrived and simply said ?we don?t take returns without the till receipt?.
A. Why didn?t she just tell this to the cashier rather than waste my time?
B. Increasingly till receipts are offered as an option. So if you find your job uses less material than envisaged and you haven?t opted for a till receipt, you?re penalised.
Poor experience and no discretion used.
