I would not recommend you shop here if you have mental health issues. The manager gave me a massive lecture about how she did not agree with my friends point of view which was a private conversation. After my friend left she felt the need to come over to me and basically tell me off! I had my son with me and so just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible as it was very embarrassing as she spoke to me in the middle of the shop. Time and place?so inappropriate and unprofessional.

Two old ladies who now work there are extremely rude. Horrible customer service. So not recommend. I don?t need that treatment when I go shopping.

Best shop ever! So good that I found wat I wanted to buy. Last time it was more busy so I didn?t want to be rude and impatient. Thanks for the great sale. Probably I will visit again soon. Ciao!:)

I recently brought lots of items to Oasis in Garrett Lane, including huge pieces of brand new, expensive cotton fabric in a modern pattern suitable for making kids clothes, cushion covers or even small curtains etc etc. I was disgusted to see the woman putting them in what she said were the re-cycle bags. When I asked why she said it was no good!!!! And they get paid for rent-cycled items. Yes - approx £3 per 10kg bag. I worked, until covid, in a charity shop for 10 years. Fabric sold incredibly fast. One piece would?ve sold for about £7 at least. So approx £28 went in recycle bin to get a few pennies instead. Most of my items - Bric a brac went in the bin purely because she didn?t know what they were!!! Similar items in other charity shops I?ve seen priced at £5 upwards. I was too shocked to ask for my stuff backBUT they won?t get an old newspaper from me again. Oasis At least teach your staff to know good from bad. And it?s not just their taste in items that should be kept to sell. Also, this member of staff was soooo miserable. Not once in the 30 min I was in the shop did I hear her speak to anyone - even her colleagues. She gave on word replies if asked a question. She is like this all the time. It used to be so nice in that shop. Chatting and laughing with the staff especially Cara who was there for years. Friendliness makes customers return.

One of my favourite charity shops to go to

Good shop, friendly staff. Decent range of goods but agree with some reviews that some are a bit too damaged to sell. Just bought a couple of furniture bits with very minor dents which is expected, but it was solid wood and although pricey, it was a bargain. Would recommend, they are doing their best to help people in need. Please be supportive.

wife enjoys this shop, today good seasonal window displays for end month. interesting variety of goods, good choice of books, bric a brac, clothes and hand made greeting cards. Will be back for the hand made Christmas cards look forward when they are back in stock.

Too tightly packed with items. Difficult to browse. Selling damaged stock for exorbitant prices. Unfortunately the shop absolutely reeked of cigarettes. To top it off, the shop assistant today looked to be in a mood and was short and unwelcoming. For once it would be nice to be greeted as you enter, even a smile perhaps. A big disappointment.

Oasis is open again after the long close down. They have done well to get it all organised and clean again. If you are donating, please note due to government guidelines, they have to leave for X amount of hours/days before they are allowed to touch new donations and sort.
