Personally I would say to all customers of Santander , please monitor ur bank accounts , there is money leaving the accounts unexpected and then hidden away on the bank statement, I have reported this but no action has been taking so I would warn all customers of this bank to b careful , money laundering is taking place

Not adhering to opening times. Was there at 12:52 after midday was flately closed. Not a sould in sight. Not a single note to explain. Terrible service don't bank with them.

Today around 2 PM I went with my husband to solve an issue with his Santander account. The gentleman who helped us was very kind, polite and competent. He had a lot of patience with our requests. The issue was partially solved. We were satisfied by his customer service.

The worst banking experience I've ever had. I went to use their ATM machine to deposit £20 and the machine, took my money, swallowed my card then shut down. I was helpless and terrified - I tried calling the helpine and was on hold for an hour (twice) and couldn;t get through to them. I caught an employee from the branch as they were leaving and they said to come in the next day to collect my card and be reimbursed for the money that was stolen by their machine. I went in the next day and was informed they destroyed my card and wouldn't be reimbursing me for the money I deposited into the machine which wasn;t credited to my account. Now I'm out of pocket. The cashiers were useless and said they can't do anything even though it;s their machine. When I went in there were lots of other people complaining about the ATM which was swallowing their money and glitching. Perhaps it was tampered with but Santander couldn't care less and just let more and more people have their money swallowed and cards swallowed and left helpless on the high street. Changing bank now due to the panic and hours wasted for trying to do something as simple as deposit some cash. Awful.

Wow. I went for the first time today and now I understand why the reviews are so bad. The lady that served me was so rude. I needed to deposit cash and she kept asking me how much it was exactly. I didn?t count them - isn?t that their job? - and she was very mad at me. She asked me again, how much is it for the notes and for the coins separately. Her demeanour was rude and she wasn?t nice at all. To make a customer feel like their simple request is a nuisance is BELOW STANDARD. When she said goodbye, the vibe was ?Bye, get out of my sight, stupid girl.? Santander, hire better staff!! You?re damaging your brand!

Before even i try to explain what i would like to do i was told no we can't help you! After 30min of teaching local branch called manager she managed to complete payment. Welldone and while i was standing and waiting colleague did same to other customers whithout listening what customers wants them to do! Never again to tooting branch

Have been with this bank from when it was called Abbey National and over the year's this bank has got bad to worse, had to close two accounts down and go bank some where else... .Poor customer service.
