the waits in this store are genuinely crazy - i have waited an hour to be spoken to by a bike tech. they don?t remotely acknowledge you. don?t even bother unless you have time to waste.

I asked for help initially to someone who is just walking around the shop, he asks me to attend to the desk I wait for him to finish assisting his boxes and serve me, shouldn?t customer service be first ? I receive a phone call I walk away, I ask his other college about the questions I had and he says to me he doesn?t know if what I am trying to buy is for my car ? I said so you are saying what it shows on your website is wrong ? What an attitudes this guys have !!

I've only used this to buy items to help maintain my old car, so can't comment on cycle related matters. In general, they have a good range of parts and tools. All the staff who have served me have been friendly and helpful but their computer system is not always correct as to what part is needed.

Last I checked, a landline phone can both take calls and make calls. Incredible technology, really - two functions in one device!
All I wanted to know was whether I could pick up my bike a little earlier than my booked time. So I called customer service, who told me they?d ?leave a message for the store to call me back with the highest priority.? Lovely. Naturally, nobody ever called back.
So I tried ringing the store myself over the past few weeks. Either this store is exceptionally popular and every staff member is constantly ?serving other customers,? or they just can?t be bothered to answer the phone.
If the phone is purely decorative at this point, why not just unplug it and stick it in the garage? At least that frees up table space for something you?ll actually use.

would be 5/5 stars if it had not taken as long as it did however I am thoroughly pleased with my experience at Halfords Balham, particularly with Nelson, Owen and the bicycle assembly team. The customer service was nothing short of stellar.

I just collected my bike from Halfords Balham. John and Alan at the cycling shop gave a fantastic service to build my bike and let me collect it on a weekend 3 days before the scheduled collection slot. An amazing 5 star service. Thank you!

Had a really great experience collecting my bike, Nelson in particular helped me out with the service and he was very patient and knowledgable. Appreciate the time he took to walk me through about bike essentials and learning the gears properly, along with answering any questions I had. Overall had a pleasant experience!

Great service - Nelson is a top mechanic and a great service person! His depth of knowledge, warmth, politeness and can-do attitude is really admirable. He was very quick to understand the situation with my bike that required a makeover but quick work and was quick to get me an appointment understanding my urgency. I?m so satisfied with his work and highly recommend him!

I went into Halfords to get my son?s bike serviced and Nelson was absolutely fantastic! He was friendly, helpful, and really took the time to make sure everything was done properly. He explained things clearly, kept my son engaged, and went the extra mile to make sure the bike was safe and running like new. Honestly the best customer service we?ve experienced in a long time ? Nelson is a real credit to Halfords. Highly recommend!
