Day Lewis Pharmacy, I am writing to you because I feel very frustrated by the waste of time and the inconvenience you have caused me today, July 21, 2025, at approximately 4:00 p.m. I was in the hospital and the rheumatology doctor gave me a prescription for medicine to order from any pharmacy, so I called you as I am a regular customer. When I left the hospital, the first thing I did was call you to verify that you had the medicine and to pick it up. You told me that it would be at the pharmacy in two days to collect it. When I arrived at the pharmacy, which took about 35 minutes to get there, no one called me to tell me that during the trip they had checked with the suppliers and that these medicines were out of stock. They didn't bother to call me and tell me that there was no need for me to come in as they were out of stock. I had to go down to Tooting Broadway again to find another pharmacy. The only reason they've told me why they haven't called me is because they didn't know my name to talk to me, but they did have my phone number.You have my history of the medications I take since I have several health problems that make it difficult for me to walk.

This is our local pharmacy and it is brilliant. Those that work there are endlessly helpful and friendly and they will always go above and beyond to help you out. It really does play its role as a great community resource.

They are always helpful and professional. Today I just needed a second opinion on a wound that is not healing and they were happy to have a Quick Look and confirm nothing more I could do and to see a GP.

Every time there is a shortage of medicines and the staff completely ignores the customers. I ordered medication, called twice to check if my medication is there. I was told to come in on Tuesday, I switched jobs for the afternoon shift. Of course they forgot to order the medicines. I was given the prescription back and told to find my own medication. Well done!

I recently had a very negative experience at Day Lewis Pharmacy. The pharmacist was incredibly rude and accusatory towards me, even though I had done nothing wrong. I was shocked and upset by their behavior, and I felt like I was being treated unfairly.It is unacceptable for a healthcare professional to behave in this way towards their patients, and it made me feel very uncomfortable and anxious. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone, and I would caution anyone who is considering using their services to be aware of the potential issues they may encounter.In my opinion, the staff at Day Lewis Pharmacy need to undergo further training on how to deal with customers in a professional and respectful manner, and they should take steps to ensure that incidents like mine do not happen again in the future.
