We spent one night at The White Hart Hotel. The location is great if you are visiting the many attractions in the area. Hampton Court is only a few miles down the road and the city offers plenty of restaurants to choose from. The room was beautiful and charming, a spacious bathroom and very comfortable beds, with Tudor style decor all throughout the hotel. The stuff was all nice and helpful, although we didn?t have dinner at the restaurant, we did have a drink at the end of the day and it was nice to be able to just sit back and relax. There is a parking lot located right behind the Hotel, nice and easy to park and offload your suitcases. Breakfast was ok, enough to keep you full until lunch time. I would look no further and just stay here!

Great location and very comfortable and clean rooms. The staff were very friendly and efficient - a problem was quickly sorted out without fuss . Breakfast was delicious. Only downside was patchy Wi-Fi - not sure if this was one -off but inconvenient

We stayed for 3 nights and found this hotel, staff, location, free on-site parking, room, restaurant and breakfast all very good indeed, we hope to stay there again. The Jane Seymour suite was lovely and had everything one could ask for, apart from working air conditioning. I believe the rooms were all refurbished during Covid and they are very attractive and excellent value. The superior suites are all at the front but there should be no concerns about traffic noise as the double glazing does a good job of keeping the noise to a minimum. I want to give breakfast a special mention as the variety and quality were excellent. We used this hotel as a base for Hampton Court Palace and Kew Gardens. Both were easily accessible by bus; Hampton Court is 5 minutes away from a bus stop which was only 2 minutes walk away and Kew Gardens is 30 mins away on the number 65 from Eden Street. In addition you can take a short stroll across Kingston Bridge to a large selection of good riverside restaurants. Before we arrived I emailed with Garry and Karen and they were both extremely helpful with regard to our room and travel options to Kew etc., so I knew we were on to a winner before we even arrived, thanks for your help guys! Lastly, the reason why we?ve not given 5 stars is because of the broken air con. We did mention it after the 1st night but it remained inadequate unfortunately; it made all the right noises but lust blew out room temperature air. We stayed during the heatwave at the beginning of September and we honestly believe the temperature of the room never fell below 30 degrees, particularly evening and night. And therefore as we have not slept well for 3 nights how could we possibly give 5 stars. From my experience with air con units for IT rooms, I have always been able to call someone in to have them fixed the same day, so I know it?s possible.. If it wasn?t for this it would have been a 5* experience.

We booked this for two nights, arranging a meal in the restaurant on the first evening. The receptionist was business like so no complaints but no greeting or smile. The room was on the first floor and was nice, with comfy beds, but rock hard pillows and there was a good size bathroom. All seemed okay but there is a definite air of neglect, the reception chair had one arm missing and the other secured with tape, the room behind this was scruffy and looked dirty. In the restaurant there are beautiful stone framed windows but they had old doors stacked up against them on the outside. We ordered steaks, they were fine, but for just two of us a service charge had already been added to the bill which I found really odd. We had one plate of food each, not something I?d particularly thought deserved a tip. The breakfast next morning was underwhelming, one piece of toast with a tiny portion of scrambled egg. The fruit selection was cut wafer thin. All feels like cost cutting and neglected, which was a shame because it?s à lovely old building and could be amazing. I wouldn?t stay here again.

Just got home from our 3rd visit to this lovely and welcoming hotel. Breakfast and staff amazing as usual, only slight complaint was around the bathroom, which looked like there had a leak in the roof above as the ceiling had some mould on it.

This part of the country was always going to be that bit pricier, so if you?re heading there make sure you stay somewhere that makes it worth it. We found the White Hart pleasant, professional and a nice place to both stay and eat from start to finish. Recommend staying the older, more historic part of the building(Catherine Parr room was lovely), parking, checking etc easy and food (we had lunch one day and breakfast the day after) delicious. For me the most impressive part was how well of the young staff seemed trained. Pleasant, polite, helpful, attentive and always alert in case you needed something. A nice experience during times when customer service can badly let down the best of places in hospitality.

Great hotel. Staff really friendly and helpful. Rooms spotlessly clean and very good selection of teas and coffee in the room with joy of joys fresh milk. Thank you. Great selection at breakfast. Found evening meal expensive even with discount. Maybe that?s London prices??.

Excellent stay. Super attentive staff, fantastic clean accommodation, good sized rooms, comfy bed & great breakfast. Rooms equipped with tea & excellent coffee facilities. Loved the fact fresh milk in your fridge. Wee chocolate treats, bottled water & milk topped up daily. Room also had a safe. Parking an added bonus! Would definitely come back and stay again. Very central for Kingston, Hampton Court & access to London.

Excellent location, secure car parking and lovely rooms and service. We were greeted at reception and informed of all information we needed for our stay., Our room was lovely and clean with everything e may have needed over the stay including, express machine, kettle, bottled water and fresh milk in the fridge. Safe, Hairdryer, and iron with ironing board. The hotel has a great folder on the desk in the room with all information you may need and if you need anything happy top help. We walked to a concert at hamptonCourt which is a short walk, and when we got back bar open until 1am so was nice to chill in beer garden with a drink to finish the night. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order, with pastries available. Nice start to the day.

A clean, quiet, friendly, well run hotel in a great location with easy access to Kingston, London and the many opportunities that south west London offers. We visited Kew and Ham House whilst we were there. Lots of nice touches - fresh milk and bottled water available free in the fridge in the rooms. Excellent breakfast menu to keep the vegans and the carnivores happy. Great service from the staff in the bar/restaurant.Free car parking on site. We will be back.

A very nice mains course of sea bass with delicious artichoke and spinach accompaniments , very well prepared and presented, all going well so far . Then for the negative. I ordered sticky toffee pudding for dessert and unfortunately this was a bit of a let down. Very dry and in some places burnt pudding with lacklustre toffee sauce and poor tasting ice cream. Overall a game of two half?s.
