Promising reviews however the roasts we had were bang average. Fat on the pork belly was not rendered, beef overdone, dull gravy, potatoes flavourful but lacks crunch, no char on veg, generally underseasoned.

Really lovely pub down a quiet residential road in Kingston.
The staff were all super friendly and the service was great.
The food was really tasty. I had the pork, and it was very well cooked. The only negative was that the potatoes were very hard on the outside. It was nice because they were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, but they were so crisp that they were difficult to cut with the knives we were given.
The gardens were really nice to sit in. I'd definitely recommend coming here for a roast or a drink!

Best pub in Kingston.
4/5 Real Ales in excellent condition, experienced and helpful staff. Great food and garden, not insanely expensive.
Any one who runs an empty pub in the area should visit to see how it should be done!

Such a lovely place near Richmond park, staff is very friendly and the food was great! Totally recommended if you're u the area. We booked last minute and manage to get a table even sooner, the garden space was impeccable and lovely for a sunny Sunday. The veggie roast was so tasty and a very great portion :) plus it's very dog-friendly

Honestly hands down for another GREAT roast I?ve had in England. And the fact I got a table on the day was even more surprising.
The pudding it?s the best I had so far!!!

As always? a relaxing time and delicious food. The garden is a beautiful place to sit.
For dinner, I generally choose the house salad that has a great mix of flavours and interesting ingredients, I add either chicken or halloumi. I?ve never been disappointed. My husband loves the chicken schnitzel.
The staff are friendly and attentive, working as a great team. Well done and thank you Wych Elm.

Simply amazing food and A star service. I highly recommend this pub if you want a great value for money Sunday roast. Their veggie option is delicious and all meats cooked to perfection. Dog friendly and family friendly. Their garden is beautiful.

A wonderful Sunday lunch spot, and super dog friendly! We were sat outside and our pooches were given their own water bowl and lots of cuddles by the staff throughout. Thanks!

We had an amazing meal here on Friday evening, a lovely old pub serving incredible food. It's not cheap but well worth it and hey it's Richmond in London so no where is.

Booked for a Sunday roast..wasnt disappointed..had the Pork belly..Nice size portion. 4 different vegetables..fab Yorkshire..

Up there with our favourites! Always made to feel welcome and appreciated. The team are always friendly and good humoured. Nice garden if it gets too busy and well behaved dogs are welcome too. A real decent boozer! From Enchanted Grotto.

A truly GREAT pub: Great parking; great welcome; great atmosphere; great garden; great staff; great food at extraordinarily fair prices; and our dog was greatly appreciative of his personally-provided water-bowl. Deserves 6/5 stars.
Parking: Over dozens of visits I have always been able to park within 50m of the pub's front door - and quite often right outside. It just seems to be an area where few local residents own cars, so street parking for visitors is extremely easy.
