Aug25- we go at least once a year. Great spot by river. Lots of outside space. We used to go when it was not so busy and now it has become a hub of entertainment.
Food was ok but desperately wanted something not so sweet as Halloumi covers in honey, Korean cauliflower bites slightly sweet, and even the whipped feta had a taste of not salty. In contrast the dessert pannacotta had savoury herbs on it! The cheese platter was immense!
Didn't care for the man(manager?) reprimanding (female) wait staff in visual distance of our table. Not sure what that was about .
Lovely inside and outside site otherwise.
Lovely atmosphere.

Lovely pub and location, service friendly but a bit haphazard - big place so guess hard to keep up with people but our table got a bit forgotten - all could be forgiven but food only ok and prices are not ok - but as I say great location so you pay for it.

Great family pub with outdoor ping pong tables, events and food is not too bad considering it is a pub. However it keep the score at 3 because prices here are excruciating expensive for what it is. A glass of cheap wine costed me more than £14.

Your first time you may get a little ?confused?. It?s spacious but too many ?areas? and difficult to decide where to order drinks and food or both. When busy it?s a complete mess with queues badly managed. Im hoping to have a better experience next time. Nice toilets and I liked they have a good area for bikes

Apart from a few obstacle courses to access the pub, this is always a good choice to go to. There are various dining areas, both inside and out. You can also take your dog.

Went in. No one greets you. Staff seem disinterested, overworked and most likely underpaid. Can?t sit here for food, here drinks only - and then told as we ordered that kids are not welcome after 9pm. So we left, with 3 nos and not even a goodbye. Been coming here for years, no more.
They just lost hundreds in pounds in business. I am also a tour guide across the area, and will now send my clients elsewhere. Avoid. Now watch the generic manager response come in with explanations and corporate talk.
