“I had a truly heartwarming experience at Cook on Teddington High Street last week, and I just had to share it to highlight the exceptional kindness of one of their staff members.
On a sweltering hot day, I was parked outside the shop in a bay, catching up on emails on my phone. I'd been there for over 30 minutes, barely moving, when a lovely male employee popped out to check on me. He was concerned that I hadn't stirred much in the heat and wanted to make sure I was okay. Once he saw I was fine, he kindly invited me inside the air-conditioned shop for a glass of water to cool down!
What a super chap. His thoughtful observation and genuine care really made my day. In a world that can feel rushed, people like him remind us of the best in humanity. I already use Cook regularly, although this is not an advert for their products (we all know how good they are) this is purely about the kindness and humanity of one of their employees.
