The father is courteous and helpful. The daughter is very nice, charming with a great sense of humour. When either of these two are running the shop, it's a pleasure to go in there.

The women is rude rude rude rude rude rude .She was on phone . Let me waited 5 mins standing there .Then finally ?. Told me ? I can?t find ur name ? ( which she did 20 mins later among those 2 pages ) .She then told me to go find my own parcel .I can?t find ur parcel . There is no parcel !She then asked me : don?t go !!! And asked me to lift up the heavy parcel to her eyes. As she can?t be bothered to come to the big heavy parcel .Among the whole service ( if u call this is a service ) . She didn?t lift a finger for my parcel.I would have had a much more civilised pleasant time and better experience with a self collecting machine like those amazon yellow stations .

Excellent, friendly newsagents which I have used for years. Always helpful with good supply of cards, stationery, household needs apart from papers/magazines.

I echo comments made in other reviews; the husband is pleasant and helpful but you have to feel sorry for him if the woman is his wife. She is constantly on the phone and its clear customers are an irritating distraction for her

This is terrible store which EVERYDAY MAKES ILLEGAL TRANSACTIONS. It is illegal in the UK charge extra fee when customer paying with Debit or credit card. This store is charging 50p extra when you are paying with card. It is ILLEGAL since 13 Jan 2018.Opened claim and submitted complaint to HMRC as well as supplier. Will deal in legal way until the end. Even if it will cost them a business. We don?t need crooks in Teddington.

I have dealt with this establishment for some thirty years. I have always enjoyed polite, friendly and helpful service from all members of the family who are always ready to go the extra mile to achieve customer satisfaction.Dowsett?s provide a model of how a local newsagent should be run, long may they prosper.

Rude and crude they sell chocolate that comes from a packet that says not to be sold separately, they sell drinks that have special prices on and cover them up with their own higher price sticker, I have reported them to the Trading Standards Office.

Depends on who's working that day. If the man is working you'll be treated amazingly. If its the women you'll get treated with disinterest at best. That is if she gets off her phone call to acknowledge you.

How a simple top-up oyster card can become a nasty experience...That's what happened to me today in this newsagent. Being a regular customer, to top-up my oyster and buy magazines or newspapers, did not expect such a rude attitude by the lady who serve me.After having spent no more than 10 minutes searching and opening some magazines before I top-up my oyster, when I was on the way to the counter, this lady argued in a serious and aggressive tone that I had spent too much time searching the magazines, and that store wasn't a library, just because I decided not buy any magazine. The conclusion I draw is that surely this lady has no idea what customer service in a newsagent is.I want to express with this comment my displeasure about the service provided to me in this shop and to warn those who come to this store. So, if you want to go to this newsagent, you are obliged to buy something, and it´s pick up and pay immediately rule, otherwise you may hear some nasty comment!
