Amazing food, beautiful service, I love to come here for takeaway or sit in with friends. I feel human here unlike in some restaurants in south east London: clean tables, staff really takes care of your wishes. Recommended to everyone.

Food is pathetic, I ordered Panner and Lamb shank and both curry tasted bad. Paneer was fried so it was chewy like rubber, who does that now ? Capsicum was raw and curry seemed like it was same for every dish. Tasteless
Lamb Shank did not tasted like how it tastes. it was not cooked for properly, no flavours.

Visited with three adults and a toddler. The staff were wonderful and looked after us extremely well. Attentive, very kind (especially to the youngest) but not overdone at all. The food is really excellent, we will come again.

Went there for a dinner date with my wife on a Saturday evening.
As soon as we walked in and mentioned that I had made a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and shown to a table for two.
Whilst we were checking the menu, our host brought over poppadoms and 3 dips which were complimentary.
We needed a bit of help deciding between a paratta and roti for a side dish, and our host was very helpful with making us decide.
For starters, we had crab prawn cake and lamb chilli momos. Mains were mixed sizzler special and Gurkha's Himalayan biryani with a side of paratha. We also got a bottle of sparkling water.
The crab prawn cake had a very crunchy texture and although it was a bit on the bland side, the dip that came with it made it up in terms of flavour. Momos were very flavourful.
All the mains were very delicious. All the meats were cooked very well and the staff were kind enough to provide some extra chillies on the side at my wife's request.
We didn't manage to finish all the food we ordered and had to ask the staff to pack it up for takeaway.
An interesting thing I saw on their menu is that they don't have a service charge, which is a first for us in a London restaurant.
We were very pleased by the customer service, which was always very prompt and friendly at all times. Also, the two small complementary chocolates we got with the bill were a very nice touch.
Definitely a 5 ? review and we will be coming here again soon.

Great place been coming here since for over 15 years my fav Indian. Great menu and friendly staff. The interior is nice and ambient as well.

What a great meal! Friends suggested a curry for Father's Day and recommended Gurkha's, and we weren't disappointed. Friendly service and super fresh food made to order. The black dal, the vegetarian and lamb dumplings, the peshwari naan bread were stand outs, as were the lamb and chicken dishes from their specials. Crisp Kingfisher on draught, giant bottles of Gurkha beer, and a great selection of wines by the glass or bottle. Great place for large groups (we were 7). Highly recommend.
