I ordered some products from B&Q online for home delivery, 1 out of 3 items arrived in 2 working days, then I was told that the other 2 items will be arriving 4 days later and they are not shipped by b&q but by credited vendors. I?m sorry b&q but you have to do better this is shocking service. I used b&q for convenience of getting all three products under one roof. These products were not available for click and collect hence why I ordered for home delivery.
I will never use b&q for any projects going forward they are so far behind all their competitors.
To top it all off I have had to take a 45 mins out of my day to issue a refund.

Extremely Disappointed by Lack of Basic Compassion
I was shopping with my 3-month-old baby, trying to juggle a plastic basket of items and care for my child at the same time. After waiting a long time for staff to bring out a drill I needed, things took a frustrating turn when the manager scanned our items and radioed the front desk to stop us from leaving with the plastic basket. I explained that I was carrying a newborn and just needed the basket to get everything to the car, promising to return it immediately afterward.
Instead of showing an ounce of empathy or common sense, they forced us to unpack everything at the exit in front of other customers and refused to let us use the basket, even temporarily.
Despite clearly struggling, they told us we could buy a bag if we needed one that badly. It wasn?t about the bag, it was about the complete lack of human decency shown. Watching a parent struggle with a baby and still choosing policy over kindness was honestly shocking.
This experience left a really sour taste. I understand rules are rules, but some flexibility and basic customer care would have gone a long way.

Have been renovating for two years and spent hours in B&q and have received some terrible customer service all across south London but today was a different story. Want to say a huge thank you to Joanna who took her time to share her knowledge of plants and flowers with us. She was unbelievably helpful, kind and really went the extra mile for us!

I found a couple of the more junior staff so helpful. The person responsible for the area I was looking around was quite disinterested in my queries. I'm just wondering how you can be selling smart mirrors that have inbuilt lights, actually have them on display in a mock-up bathroom, but not have them wired in so customers can see how suitable the lights are... Apparently, one out of four had been wired up, but that was no longer working. Looks like I'll buy my mirror elsewhere.

Thanks Ernest for helping me to my car with many boxes of tiles, and for helping me distribute the weight. Wonderful customer service delivered as if it were no trouble at all.

The store did have the items I need, but tye staff is so unhelpful, with lack of knowledge about the products I needed and where the items could be found. I was hoping for a 20 minutes in out to pick up some screws, anchors, and boards, but as staff was so unhelpful i had to feverously scour the internet for assistance. Basically the store has what you need, but not the assistance I'd expect of a hardware diy style store.

I was in the store yesturday to buy a pack of bedding plants . Previously the plants and the service have been excellent , however the plants looked poor outside the store and the prices had rocketed . Going inside the heat was overwhelming and in the garden section there was nothing suitable so despite reluctance I attempted to get outside to purchase some petunias that were in a poor condition at £12 . I was immediately treated like a criminal having the fuss of getting out , leaving the basket then getting back in store to pay . When will stores learn to respect honest customers..

Nicely stocked, polite staff. Great selection of indoor and outdoor plants! Sometines need to queue longer. Although as being a diy store should re-do their front store sign as all faded, looks sad, barely recognisable

I?d like to give a big thank you to Sean!
I met this truly lovely man today as I was leaving the store, struggling with more than I expected to carry. Out of many younger male employees around, Sean was the only one who noticed and kindly offered to help me. I was so grateful for his support it really meant a lot. I wish I had some cash on me to tip him, but the least I could do is leave this review.
Sean represents the kind of customer service we need more of genuine, thoughtful, and willing to go the extra mile, not because it?s required, but because he truly cares. He came across as someone who enjoys helping others and takes pride in what he does.
Thank you again, Sean. You?re a credit to your team, and I hope your kindness is recognised. God bless you! X

No staff available to help through kitchen or bathroom showroom... A great member of staff called Darrell on my way out the shop helped, he was superb with explaining the stock, and what they have available online to suit my needs. 5* to Darrells customer service. Shame about the other stuff seeming just 'to busy' to assist.

Unfortunately B&q doesn't have signs to let you know which plants and evergreens are cat friendly, but they have brilliant/amazing staff, a Lady called Keely helped me find all the cat friendly plants in store, so I would like to say thank you so much Keely now my cat can enjoy the garden as much as I do. 5/5 service
