Maggie's is a beautiful, comfortable space within the grounds of Royal Marsden Hospital. As well as offering a whole portfolio of courses and workshops for patients, they provide the respite many crave during countless appointments.I have visited the Centre many times and experienced first hand the love, care and invaluable practical support Maggie's offer when people are perhaps feeling a little vulnerable. You are encouraged to sit and be at peace within their beautiful grounds but there are also so many opportunities to meet and talk to others facing a similar journey. The staff and volunteers are warm, welcoming and so kind, you can't help but feel at home the moment you enter.

Very friendly and welcoming in an outstandingly designed modern building. This adds to the whole experience.Maggies centres provide a range of services for cancer patients, all of them vital for those understandably anxious and worried about their futures. Long may Maggies centres prosper, so needed when cancer takes hold.

I can highly recommend the Maggie's Centre at the Royal Marsden. True professionals, with a huge amount of experience in caring, giving, supporting and wrapping their warm arms around anyone suffering with cancer or loved ones of those suffering with cancer. For clinical support, financial guidance, counselling and much more.... Especially a cup of tea, stop in or make an appointment.Bryn, Lydia, Kate and Robert, to name a few members of staff, will be on hand to guide you.

What a lovely quiet space. Volunteers will leave you alone if you just want a bit of me space, alternatively they will sit and chat about anything and everything.

Where do you even start to say how amazing this place is.If you are patient at the Royal Marsden or a friend or family member that wants support or advise this place is perfect. The people that work here are wonderful and are always available for help, whether it be for someone to talk to about general life, in need of counciling or even financial advice they have people here with those specialities to help you.The building itself is only 2 years old and is beautifully made with large open kitchen that can be used to to make coffee and tea for free. There are lots of little rooms, chairs couches and tables to relax at. There is also a large beautiful garden and outdoor room to be too.It is located just a 5 minute walk from the Royal Marsden front entrance and either follow the signs or simply ask at the front desk at the hospital to get there. Please just visit when you do just so you where to go if you ver need it as I'm here all the time.

When one and their families are going through difficult times, Maggie's at Royal Marsden is excellent in everyway: from being greeted, nice environment to wait for your loved ones whilst going through treatment, which could take hours, and professional staff to help you understand and provide support, to having nice hot drink and biscuits and fruit. I have decided I love our NHS.Please click on like if this was helpful.
