Absolutely pathetic security guard (guy with glasses) who has an ego problem, very confrontational and intimidating behaviour over helping with a trolley.
So unprofessional and rude, have been using Asda less and less.
Much prefer other supermarkets instead who know what customer service is and don?t have a superiority complex.

Selling soiled food and refused to refund. I brought it back before the expiry date as the chicken wings turned green(!) with a stinky smell but they simply refused a refund. Terrible service.

Bad experience in the Sutton store regarding defective trolley that had no working magnets in the wheels, so trolley would not stick onto the travelator and it overturned on top of me, almost bringing me down to the ground, and all my shopping fell and rolled back down. Emergency stop button pressed by another customer and people behind me had to get off the ramp. I was helped by some kind people who helped me with my shopping and wheeled the defective trolley back down. I am an old lady and I was pretty shook up, my leg was hurt and I have a nasty bruise on my thigh and my foot is sore where it was caught under the trolley. An Asda employee came out eventually, his only concern was why had the travelator been turned off, and was the trolley damaged, at no time did he ask if I was OK nor did he offer any assistance. I have lodged a complaint through customer services, reminding them they have a duty of care to all customers who visit the store, it is obvious they do not carry out Due Diligence in ensuring their equipment is safe. I have yet to receive a response, only silence! Shame on you Asda in the way you treat OAPs, totally disgusting and unacceptable

Beware!!!!! They overcharge you, prices on tills often higher than written on shelves if you won't notice you will get overpriced without knowing. I just been charged 4.46 for shower gel that should be less than 2 pounds. Also woman with black headscarf on self checkouts is very rude and unhelpful. Been using asda often in the past, but using it less and less now, my money go somewhere else

Scan & Go at Sutton High Street A Complete Failure and a Red Flag for the Whole Asda Brand
As a long-time user of Asda?s Scan & Go service across different stores, I?m incredibly disappointed by my recent experiences at the Sutton High Street branch. What should be a quick and seamless process has become a stressful, time-wasting ordeal that completely defeats the purpose of Scan & Go.
Frequent, random checks cause long delays, ruin the careful packing of my shopping, and leave me feeling treated like a suspect. This is especially frustrating given the prominent security presence in the store clearly, the issue lies with poor management and lack of effective monitoring. Instead of improving their own systems, this branch punishes loyal customers who simply want to shop quickly and efficiently.
More concerningly, this isn?t just a one-off issue at Sutton; it?s indicative of deeper inconsistencies across Asda?s Scan & Go service. A major retailer like Asda should be able to deliver a unified, respectful experience across all its branches, but the Sutton store shows exactly how mismanagement can destroy customer trust. If Asda cannot standardize basic training and policies across its locations, then ?Scan & Go? is just an empty promise.
This branch is dragging down the entire brand and urgently needs intervention at a higher level. Until Asda addresses these fundamental problems, I and many other loyal customers will take our business elsewhere.

Went to the car wash , but they don?t take cards ?.cash only. I should imagine that is so they don?t pay too much tax , if they pay any at all!!
Pretty poor from such a big company, but I won?t be using Asda anymore?.Tesco from now on .

Absolutely useless, I ordered 10kg of meat for a delivery (with some other products). When the deliver came, they only deliveredd 2kg. The driver didn't say anything, nor did I get an email saying the delivery was short. Had to pay for delivery for it not even to be delivered. Nice Scam guys

Everything else is good but never do click & collect. They take so much time and have a new excuse each time - gone upstairs to check something, on break etc. At this rate we could have gotten all the items from the store ourselves.
