We use Surbiton Local a lot as it?s so close to us. Great range of snacks and drinks and they?re usually great and taking in parcels for us. Most of the staff are very friendly, too.

Been a regular here since it opened. Coffee, toasted sandwiches and service are excellent. Most of all, the staff are always fantastic and it's just a nice place to have a bite to eat, drink and recharge. Somewhere you can feel totally co fortable on your own or with others.

This place really stands out amongst the bars and pubs of Surbiton and Tolworth. The size, the music, and the drinks are all great, but what really draws me here is the genuine welcoming atmosphere. The owner and the bar staff all know their stuff and take it seriously, but not at the expensive of a smile and a warm hello. Enjoying this place, whether it's just for one drink or a few, is effortless, and that's a rare thing to find.

The owner and workers been always helpful when I am there. Specially thanking owner for helping with my DHL parcel. Sorted out for me super quickly even having issues with the barcode.

This is the best coffee shop ever! Friendly staff, welcoming owner, amazing coffee and cake to die for! It?s just the best, eat in or take away everything is excellent all the time. We didn?t know we needed The Surbitonian Grind in our lives, but now we do we wonder how we managed without it!

Extremely rude man who runs the shop. Has been rude to me on a number of occasions, I've called him out on it but he doesn't seem to care - specially if you're using the Evri services.

Now that it's properly established and settled, the Surbitonian Grind is growing in confidence. Top coffee, a friendly welcome, excellent pastries and very good fresh bread. A good choice of tables and perches to sit at, although for some reason we always gravitate to 'our' table!

We came here as a group of friends in need of a quiet corner and had a really lovely time. The drinks and cakes are totally fantastic and the people running it are so kind and helpful. Definitely my favourite local cafe :)
