Very unhappy with this service, after me telling them "no contact" they did the opposite, they did a few tests prior to the actual test but couldn't even get those right, and all through the time I was there the staff totally disrespected me by using my first name which I hept correcting them on. All in all a very bad experience, I wouldn't want to go back to them again!

Very friendly and attentive team who explained everything carefully in a direct and helpful way so I could choose my new glasses.

Ordered 2 pairs of glasses, had to send them both back as not right.Blurry at the bottom nearly fell down the escalator at Waterloo.Got 1 pair replaced and still not convinced they are correct. They blamed cutting of lenses but had to remark before sending off to be replaced.

Specsavers Surbiton staff are very helpful and professional. Yolanda, my optician, was excellent. Bernie was excellent in helping with what lens and glasses options there were. Would definitely recommend.

Quite saddened with service I received with my son. Veena, obviously isn?t suitable to deal with young children. Unable to display empathy, care or individuality. Far too robotic and not at all interested in making the child feel comfortable. Told me the complete opposite that she told my husband the day previous. Letter for the GP also stated the incorrect information! Left store panicking about my son?s eyes..

Everyone in the store looks remarkably miserable so I immediately knew I was in for a pleasant experience. Was given a fairly new (?) optometrist who had no idea what she was doing at all, she had to get other staff help do very basic things over and over again, it was long...my eyes were not tested properly...and I brought it up gently, to which I was told I am not the professional, she is. She was very rude. I asked to see my new prescription but was given excuses and told to pick out new frames.I went to pick up my glasses a week later and to my utter surprise...they were way too strong and out of focus. They told me to take them home and to give it a go anyway to which I refused and another member of staff interjected in agreement with me (thank you!)Had to book another eye test a week later with someone much more experienced who got it spot on. And waited another week for those to be delivered to the store. Albeit, now I can see, the whole process was extremely tedious, expensive and stressful, I will not use Specsavers again and have been using them for eye care since I was a child.

I'm very pleased with my glasses, and Sean looked after me very well. He helped me to pick out my frames, and everyone has admired them.Thank you Sean!

Just been in today and the staff really deserve some recognition for their service; they always remain so calm and patient whilst handling some pretty impatient customers. I'm always greeted with a smile and their time is very appreciated considering how busy they all are.

I purchased my glasses at Kingston and had them delivered to Surbiton for collection. Fortunately for me the diligent lady serving me (Bernie) at the Surbiton branch realised the glasses I had purchased were completely the wrong size, and in addition, the measurements taken for my lenses were also incorrect. Whilst extremely frustrating the Kingston branch were so careless, I?m grateful the Surbiton branch spotted the error and enabled me to change my glasses to a correct pair. Thank you Surbiton branch.

This was our first experience of Specsavers, we found the staff to be very helpful and professional. Yolanda, my optician, was excellent. Both my wife and myself found the process to be smooth and we've both coming away with glasses we are very happy with, all within a week. Would definitely recommend.

I have been visiting Specsavers in Surbiton since 2015/2016 and its almost always been a good experience, however this time around, unfortunately it wasn't great... The optometrist was very professional and answered any questions I had, I believe her name was Zara, brilliant optometrist. The majority of the staff were very friendly too and more than happy to help. However, one member of staff in particular wasn't very friendly at all, seemed to rush me when I was choosing my new pair of glasses (literally came back after 1-3 minutes and asked if I had chosen). Not only wasn't he friendly, he didn't retake the eye field test with me (as it failed the first time we tried) Zara told him to do the test as my GP would have wanted to see it as I was suffering from dizzy spells at the time. He informed me when I was choosing my glasses that the test wasn't completed successfully therefore we would have had to try again before I left, however when I had chosen my glasses and sat down to pay etc... he informed his colleague that we'll do the test the following week when I was due to collect the glasses... (this was completely ridiculous because the whole point would have been so that my GP can see the results...) Also, I collected my glasses today, and no one mentioned anything about a field test... Unfortunately I'm unsure of the man's name however he was an Asian man (with an accent) with a bald head and glasses... The friendly member of staff that was taking payment and educating me about the glasses I was purchasing and my prescription couldn't login and he asked the Asian man, whom was very reluctant to provide his windows login credentials to his colleague, which seemed very unprofessional to show such reluctancy in front of a customer... Unfortunately I hate to presume such things, but I believe he didn't like my look or something, because a white man whom he was serving before me, he seemed to be very friendly to him in comparison to his tonality showcased to me. I'm a Business Development Manager in the Dental industry, even though that shouldn't matter, I really felt insecure as if I was a member of public whom walked in wo couldn't afford anything... I say this because when I was choosing my glasses, he kept on repeating "IF you decide to buy the glasses, we'll re-take the test afterwards... he must of mentioned "IF you decide to buy" about three times... It looked as if he spoke to me this way because I was wearing cargo trousers at the time (I was wearing cargo's because I had just visited one of my Dental practice clients and was running a consultation on redesigning said practice). I understand this is a very long review, and I do apologise for it because most of the staff in Specsavers Surbiton are really nice, it was just that man that really rubbed me the wrong way. I hope he doesn't make anyone else feel insecure and anxious because of the way they may dress or look, again. Just because of him, I'm really reconsidering whether I'll stick with them. FYI i collected my glasses today and they are very nice, fortunately... thanks Specsavers.
