“M&S manage to maintain a good selection of food & wine offerings. Great Bakery dept. Must compliment them on the new unpackaged/ loose fresh fruit & vegetables system although take a little longer to shop it save on plastics. Plus the installation of containers for plastics. (WELL-DONE ) Staff are always helpful. My only problem is sometimes out of stock levels, especially on wines, no excuse should get projections of take up correct. Good paring available.STOP PRESS March 17th 20, things were mad today because of the Coronavirus, some shelves were empty. Not because no stock available mainly because of crazy buying. Plenty of wine.Let’s hope for better times.”

“Alright, let me tell you why the 5-star review system is a scammy way to deprive legitimate businesses of customers.#1: Reviews are permanent. I found a lot of the one-star reviews from around two years ago. When I visited this shop, the lady was a gem, and I happily spent quite a sum just because of the customer service. Times and businesses change, employees leave, and recruits join. Google does not take these into account, so beware.#2: The aspect that very few one-star reviews talk about is the variety of flora one can get here. It's a decent shop, and the convenience of walking from my home to this green feast for the eyes is why this review exists.#3: Have you ever noticed how reviews are skewed to 5 and 1? Very few take into account that dissatisfaction has many levels. Most reviews come from people who have given only a single review in all of their time on Google Maps. They have no idea how one-star reviews massively affect the rating by having an antagonistic effect on the five-star reviews. Even 5-star reviews are scammy, but guess what? Now, I am dropping one to balance out the fault of Google for accounting for old reviews!Be sceptical of reviews. Be wary of stars. Explore the shop and draw your conclusions from your experience. Leave more constructive thoughts. Save the one-star reviews for the worst crime possibly imaginable.”
