Came down from Essex visiting family for Xmas, discovered this little shop on the High Street. Found some hidden gems that I couldn't get in Essex. Manager was very helpful and found what I needed and what was looking for. She went above and beyond. Very clean store and beautifully presented.

I visited the surbiton Clark?s on Friday, staff extremely helpful and pleasant. The Manager took extra time and effort to help my elderly mother in law. Excellent service, definitely go back again .

Bought some formal shoes today. Both the manager and assistant manager were really helpful and explained shoe widths with me. Great, friendly service and long live Clarks Surbiton, as its so important these stores remain on our local high street.

I visited Clarks as I needed some new shoes for my holiday and also some kids shoes for my son. I must have tried on about 10 different shoes as I have problems with my feet where one foot is larger than the other. I found the sales assistants very friendly and the branch manager was also very friendly and kind. I'm surprised how patient they were with me as I tried on many shoes. It was a pleasure to be served by profession members of staff. I walked away very happy and will definitely return. Thank you Clarks Surbiton.

During my recent visit to the store, I intended to purchase three pairs of shoes. Unfortunately, two of the models I selected were unavailable in the size I wanted, prompting the staff to offer an online order. However, confusion arose between the salesperson and saleswoman regarding the price of one model. The discrepancy between the in-store price and the online selection led to a discussion with the manager, who was, regrettably, one of the most disappointing managers I've encountered.Upon discovering a similar product available online, I requested to view the images on the device they were using to place the order. Despite the salesperson's willingness, the manager hesitated to provide the device. Eventually, after requesting it twice, I was able to view the pictures. However, as I scrolled through them briefly, the manager rudely questioned if I was finished, asserting that I was looking at the same images repeatedly. Her question was "ARE YOU DONE? YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE SAME PICS"Disappointed by this treatment, I decided not to proceed with any purchases and expressed my decision. To my surprise, the manager then questioned my behaviour, implying that I was the one being rude. I reiterated that I was leaving without making a purchase, to which the manager responded, "That's no problem at all." The manager's dismissive response when you decided not to make a purchase adds another layer of unprofessionalism to an already unsatisfactory encounter. This experience was reflective of consistently poor customer service, particularly due to the manager's extremely discourteous attitude.It's alarming to see a recurrent pattern of negative reviews highlighting similar issues with this manager's conduct. Clarks must take immediate steps to address and rectify such behaviour to ensure a positive shopping environment for all customers.Does Clarks have a practice of regularly reviewing the feedback and reviews received by their shops? If they do, one would expect this manager to have been dismissed by now. It's crucial for companies to uphold their standards by addressing such recurring issues promptly and ensuring a better experience for their customers.

Did an online stock check then phoned through and asked to reserve a pair of kids sandals.Upon arrival the wrong sandals were produced but the error was immediately rectified by a very apologetic staff member.All in all a positive experience.

I am so angry and my family/friends & I won?t shop at this Clark?s ever again.I have purchased a few kids shoes from this store in the past year and half and to be honest only once I had a good service from a young girl last year but the other two times I felt like the manager or if she is not the manager she is the lady with head scarf that was working Heyerdahl and had a moody face on because my child was a bit loud and didn?t help me much. Yesterday I went back to purchase a pair of kids shoes again 30 minute before they close and the lady who helped me was new and needed her manager to help her with gift card. But her manager once again had this horrible face on and didn?t seem like she liked helping us. I was busy with my friend and my child talking so I didn?t notice that they threw my gift card in the bin and only gave me a receipt and the shoe box. But because I decided to change the size of the shoes the staff had to go back to get her manager to come and do an exchange and at this point my friend heard the manager saying with frustration ( oh for god sake it?s the same shoes) she then exchanged them and I remembered they didn?t give me the gift card back so I asked for it and she responded in a rude way saying there is nothing left in it which wasn?t true so she got it out of their bin and checked and didn?t even apologised for her mistake. I?m so annoyed that I went head and purchased the shoes from such horrible customer service and now I feel like they bin my gift card cause they saw I was busy and thought I wouldn?t notice.Please sort yourself out and give better customer service to people. We are spending our money and this is the reason why you have a job or your staff have a job.

The store manager is very judgemental and arrogant. She makes unnecessary comments and then calls the customers rude. It?s like she doesn?t want customers in the shop. This is not the first time she is behaving this way.

Clarks website states I can return an online order for immediate refund at any of their stores. Well not at the Surbiton branch apparently. I have just made a specific journey to do so, and have been told by their staff they won?t issue a refund directly ?because we?re a franchise?, they will only return the items to their warehouse without any proof of return. I have proof of payment and how I paid, I stated their returns terms to them, and still the answer was no. Won?t be shopping here in future, very disappointing service. Can see from other reviews they have form for doing this. Going to raise a complaint with Clark?s head office.
