Staff always available to welcome and direct customers to right section. Wait times can be long in the afternoon and evenings but not too long earlier in the morning. Optometrist is usually very efficient and helpful.

My experience was one of the best, I was seen 15min before my appointment time. The staff were very attentive from start to finish and explained the procedures taking place. The hygiene was second to none and all staff members made me feel at ease.

Excellent service overall - All the staff who dealt with me were very professional and also very helpful and attentive - the persons who did the initial testing were thorough and explained what they were doing, the optician, Nuara, went beyond the ordinary and took great care in explaining how to care for my eyes, and she was very friendly also, and the person who helped me select the glasses I'm wearing now, Rahab, was just as helpful and thorough... All the staff at the Stratford Centre branch of Specsavers are truly excellent representatives and I highly recommend them. Thank you!

It, was nice place in the Stratford centre i have done my eye test they did very well.
The doctor was amazing explained everything .
Totally it?s take 55 min for eye test done in the morning.

Eye test by optometrist Emily was perfect.
Went to get my specs , the service was poor one of them said you have to purchase the extenders to your specs elsewhere and bring them to be fitted. Verry disappointing service

I never like to write bad reviews, but I had a deeply concerning experience at the Stratford location.
I brought in my previously bought glasses, whose frame had broken but lenses were intact, to have the lenses placed into a new frame by one of the team members.
The frame provided was almost identical to the original. However, after collecting them, my vision immediately felt blurred, unnaturally magnified, and slightly wobbly.
I returned inmediately to the same store to have them double-checked. The lady who assisted me looked at me almost as if I was imagining things, insisting the frame was the same. A colleague of hers also briefly checked and confirmed they were ?alright.? I left feeling gaslighted, but wanted to double check later to see if it was a temporary problem and as soon as I got home I knew something was wrong.
The next day, I went to the Liverpool Street branch instead. Within minutes, the gentleman there identified the real issue: the previous employee in Stratford had confused the sides of the lenses, mounting them the wrong way around ? a basic yet highly dangerous error for eye health.
The gentleman too was saying that this is unacceptable.
Incorrect lens orientation can cause visual distortion, eye strain, headaches, and other health issues if worn for any length of time. Such a mistake should never pass final inspection in a professional optical service.
I am grateful to the staff at the Liverpool Street branch for their professionalism and swift resolution, but the quality control and customer care at Stratford must be addressed immediately to prevent this from happening to anyone else.
