Go to this very store often and always am welcomed with great staff and managers who take care of their sales and repeat customers.Unfortunately the male manager on site today (19/12/23) was awful, and felt the need to excercise this authority in an inconsiderate manner.After requesting a specific pair of trainers, the advisor was helpful enough to check the stock for me, and confirmed that there were only 1 pair left in the store, being the pair on display. He was also kind enough to check local stores for me for availability, due to his kind sales journey, i requested a 10% or some sort of a discount as the pair was the last on display, considering the heavy footfall in the area, i could only imagine how many feet have been inside the shoe.The manager felt to challenge my request demanding that a discount is only discretionary if an item is defected, and there is nothing further he could do.The shoe was on sale for £75 and would've assumed a company of this standard would allow a £7.50 discount for fair use of the product.I will no longer be shopping here and will also escalate this as a complaint further.Awful.

Today I went to this jd to buy laces. I asked a few members of staff and they dismissed me. One said they don?t sell laces, the other said they know where they are. Lastly I asked a young man called Noah. Not only did he show me exactly where the laces are. He even showed me the exact ones I needed. Thanks Noah. Your attentiveness will get you very far!.

Ridiculous, having a contact number but won?t even pick up the call. Called them multiples time and keep hanging up. Just wanted to know about my pick up parcel. This is the service we get(?)

I was with my 18 months daughter at jd Stratford shopping center, wanted to buy shoes for her and I was way for 10,15 for any shop assistant to come and get me correct size but no one even bothered to come and assist customer at that jd shop.Never seen that rubbish customer service at any jd. So disappointed

Very disappointed!! I went in to search for a sports bra. I walked around looking for then and for someone to help me but couldn't find anyone. As I was walking I found a coat I really liked as I looked for the price a woman with dark hair and blue eyes came up very close behind me and asked if I needed help I explained that yes I was actually looking for a sports bra but then found this coat, she just looked at me straight faced, I then asked if there were any sports bra's? she didn't say a word just shock her head she then said that I should go. She was so rude to me. This was such a degrading experience and I doubt I will be back in JD again!

My go to Jd since a child and still come here for myself husband and kids. Recently there's been good sales and offers here like upto 50% sale. You can always find something nice here, staff aren't the friendliest but the location is good.

Very arrogant and rude female European manager, very poor customer customer service, spoke to me very rudely then shrugged her shoulder and walked off. After waiting at the till for almost 10 minutes because the lady (manager) walked away from the tills after serving the customer before me, even though she could see people in the queue. When another staff member came to the tills I explained that I placed an order for home delivery from the Hackney branch and customer service notified me that the item is no longer available due to stock levels, as I paid for the order at the kiosk at the store they said I can return to any store for a refund as long as I had my receipt. The lady who was at the till said that she has to speak to her manager, she then came back and said that she can?t do the refund and I will have to go speak to the manager. I went to the manager and explained all this to the her and she was extremely rude, she refused to issue me the refund and kept telling me to go back to the Hackney branch even though I was told by customer service that I can go to any branch, I kept telling her this and she simply said to me to go to any other branch and she will not issue the refund as it?s not in their policy. I asked for her name to make a complaint and she refused to tell me her name saying that ?I don?t have to give you my name?, she then rolled her eyes, shrugged her shoulders and walked off. I then walked over to the JD branch on the 1st floor in Westfield Stratford, and the service was completely opposite, the manager there was very polite she apologised to me and said that she will call customer service to confirm the refund, after she done this she issued me the refund straight away and kept apologising for the situation. It?s clear to me by the negative reviews about this particular branch and the attitude from the manager there that she is not capable of being a manager or needs some serious training!!! Would not recommend anyone to go to this branch, don?t even waste your time to get treated badly!!!!

A lote of staff is here but no one them helpful all of they are talking each other?s. Long queue of people waiting on the line they don?t help . The manager of the lady too poor . I can?t get the service before.

Long queue at cashier they put only one staff to serve the customer, management is poor, some of the items there is no price on it and when you ask the staff they just say I don?t know they?re bother to even check ?????

I walked in to buy some Nike caps and men's accessories. All popular sports brands are available like Addidas, Nike, and many more. Footwear, t-shirts, tracksuits, sports tees, trousers, etc are available.Good Stock in shoes but not a good stock in caps, and hats. I didn't get the nike black cap I was looking for.
