Approximately two months ago, I received a notification from Barclays indicating an intent to close my account due to a previous address of mine in Russia within the last five years. However, after communicating with their support staff, I was assured that all concerns were addressed and that my account would remain open.Regrettably, despite these assurances, my account has been unexpectedly closed. Efforts to gain clarity from Barclays' primary support team have proven unsuccessful, with no one being able to explain the discrepancy between their earlier assurances and the present situation.So I would say that this is the most discriminatory bank I have ever worked with. Their employees are absolutely useless and can't do anything.

This bank is way too slow, so unorganise, seriously they need more cashier point. People are waiting over an hour and they have 2,3 staff hanging around asking u ok, but then they can?t help. Rather then asking those thing. Better just open more cashier point.

I had two appointments to open an account.. finally after I applied after long details.. I was told that I would be called on Wednesday in a few days. 10 days passed and I was not called nor did I receive nothing..that's what happens when there are no more English people in any institution

Sadly Barclays bank is the biggest funder of fossil fuels in Europe. I would highly recommend switching banks until they stop funding climate chaos :(

extremely unprofessional and incompetent.Trying to open an account and got msg saying I need to verify identity in branch. The young lady for ?general enquiry? was super passive aggressive and asked me to book an appointment elsewhere that is more than one month later per ?process?.Eventually problem solved by myself trying again opening account from their website which went through smoothly.People working here simply need better training or need to think before brainlessly ask customer to book an appointment in this case which is more than one month away literally shovelling unnecessary work to other colleagues which doesn?t help anyone

This branch is extremely short staffed. If whatever you need to do cannot be done on the machines, then you will probably be queuing for a long time. However, the staff are nice and they do their best to provide good customer service.

One of the worst customer services, Staff don't care for customer. People are waiting in the ques and they just doing their thing. Ques everywhere but they dont seem to care about people's time. If you complain sometimes it's just sorry around but no effort at all.
