Organised a Christmas work do here, the chef was excellent and catered to us specially. The staff was also lovely and we're constantly smiling throughout service. Would definitely recommend.

Great course, value for money is very good. Friendly helpful staff and good practice facilities. No driving range but decent bets right next to the pro shop and decent short game area. It?s quite a short course but still provides a decent challenge.

The charity for which I'm a trustee, Deo Duce Foundation, held its third charity day there on the 15th September. The club could not have done better. The course was in fantastic condition, the management and bar staff went out of their way to ensure everything went smoothly and we enjoyed a three course meal superbly cooked with friendly, efficient service. Highly recommended.

We played an Abba show for the club recently...the hospitality and the kindness was outstanding. The chef made us a veggie curry, a gluten free one and a chicken one..it's the loveliest curry I've ever had. The staff were amazing...we had such a welcome from everyone all round. Thank you

We used SGC for a milestone birthday party The venue was superb and the bar manager and his colleagues were excellent. The food was tremendous and Gautham the chef and his team were extremely hospitable. All my guests - some 90 of them - were full of praise and very complimentary Thanks all ????

Played here last Tuesday with 3 friends before we went to England v Italy game. We're made most welcome by Pro Shop & any members we come across. Well worth a visit, we all carried our clubs & were well impressed with condition of the course, abit more undulating then we thought but didn't take away our enjoyment, greens were fast & true. Thankyou Stanmore Golf Club, we will be back if in the area. With England winning 3 1 a good day all round.

Absolutely awful experience at Stanmore - I would avoid at all costs. Overbooked - started the day with a 3 group backlog as they had booked 2 tee times for the same time. Members group behind us with no regard or golf etiquette whatsoever. Had a new golfer in our group - they were making snarky and rude comments on the tee box, proceeding to try and hit their balls past us whilst we?re still on the fairway, no shouts for any of their repeated errant shots, a few of which nearly hit us. Got through 6 holes in 2.5 hours due to the backlog, culminating to 4 groups waiting on a tee box at one point. Complained at the pro shop - the individual in there, Alex, quite frankly couldn?t care less. Denied the fact that there were two groups booked at the same tee time until we showed him the evidence. Denied the fact that the members would have acted they would have, culminating to ?well I don?t control what they say so what do you want me to do about it?. Not once did he even utter an apology of any form. Absolute waste of money and time and I would highly recommended all to avoid at all costs.

Had our 3rd annual golf day for Bushey & Oxhey FC fundraiser last week. Can?t rate the team highly enough. Course was in a beautiful condition, food by Gotham was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble! Looking forward to next year already!

We hired a venue for a 21st birthday party. The hall itself was spacious. Since the greens were right outside, we were able to come and go as we pleased and this aspect was really enjoyable. The food cooked by the own chef, Gowtham was spectacular and received compliments from all of our guests. The bar staff were incredibly friendly and efficient and Gowtham went out of their way to make the experience memorable. Overall, it was fantastic and we would definitely rebook the venue.

We hosted a private dinner party at the Golf Club on 10th July. Chef Gautham and his team went out of their way to make the evening memorable. The menu offered was unique & an excellent culinary experience. The attention to detail was second to none and we would highly recommend the venue and the food to anyone else thinking of hosting such an event, especially when you sit on the terrace on a clear summer evening sipping your drink and looking across the 18th fairway.
