I would like to say a big thank you to Hanna Valani Kloss showroom advisor. I visited a few months ago for a kitchen design and quote. I provided the measurements and gave her an idea of how I wanted the kitchen design. She gave some useful advice and was very skilled with her designs. Thank you Hanna for all your patience and kindness.

My partner went to get some MDF Wood cut to the length and width he wanted, but the man that served him was so very rude and kept on tutting and kissing his teeth at my partner. So he said to the employee to forget it and he then went to report him. My partner went and spoke to Akbar and he was so apologetic and very helpful! 5+ stars to Akbar!

Very poor customer service. The staff said that my delivery will come next day it?s been 4 days I?m contacting back and forth the delivery and the company to know when my item is coming. Wouldn?t recommend at all.

Very disappointed with 3 members of staff this evening. One to busy on a section to help me said ask someone else. The 2nd one was to busy asking people if they want a B&Q card and said ask someone else. The 3rd one was busy on her phone I left in the end to go somewhere else. Shocking customer service ? It use to be such a nice place staff were very helpful don't know what has gone wrong here.

Akbar was fantastic and helped us when we?d got the wrong piece of wood cut to size (it had been placed on the wrong pile). He stayed a few minutes past closing time to cut the correct piece to size for us.

Worst b and q store, over an hour to buy 1 sheet of 18mm ply, 5 women standing at the tradepoint checkout doing nothing but talking to each other withsour faces, and 1 little old guy doing all the work on his own serving customers

verry poor service the employe they not hava a clue and the mangers they don t care they drink coffe in the office i wait 30 min to get one tap off masonerry paint mixt up they don t care we lost the job or we lost the money can someone take serios this coplain and do somenthing cause we lost money wainting

We visited b&q today for some house work we had to get done.
We asked numerous staff members for help on simple things and were shocked to have the response of ?I don?t know?.
No one was helpful or willing to help and had no knowledge of things.
For example, we asked on some advice on a good weed killer for our front driveway and garden and got no help/advice from the staff members there.
We asked another member and were told to go to the garden section at the back as someone may have more knowledge or information but no one was there to help.
As feedback, staff members should have knowledge of these things and be willing to help/guide us.

I was shopping here last week when there was a traffic blockage.
It was a very frustrating moment only for it to be made worse by a staff member Lydia.
She had chosen to park in the parental parking space and block all customers from leaving because another customer had parked poorly. She the proceeded to yell at me and shout rudeness across the parking lot
I returned today for more supplies to find She has parked in the same space. Meaning no customers with prams can use this space. And I xan only assume she doesn't have her child at work.
Terrible customer care. Shake my head.

Extremely Disappointed with Customer Service
I?ve been a loyal B&Q customer for years, but after my recent experience at the Stanmore Queensbury store on 26th June 2025, I will no longer be shopping here.
I went to return unused items with proof of purchase linked to my B&Q account. The staff member at the till (name possibly Rita or Sima) was incredibly rude, aggressive, and unprofessional. Instead of helping or checking the system, she bluntly said ?No receipt, no refund? in a very dismissive tone.
Even after I found the email receipt, she escalated the situation unnecessarily by arguing further and calling the manager, who was just as rude and unhelpful. Neither offered an apology, and the entire experience was unpleasant and disrespectful.
Customer service like this is unacceptable. If B&Q cannot train their staff to speak to customers respectfully, they will lose more long-time shoppers like me. I will not be returning and will advise others to shop elsewhere.
