Really questioning the competency of one particular staff member who does not carry herself like a person who should be working in a customer service job for any company. She had poor etiquet when I asked her if she could help me find XL in a pair of shorts I picked up. She was clueless about what I was asking for and just seemed disinterested. Once I got to the till after being helped by a different person the same staff member was at the till again with nobody in the queue other than myself waiting to buy the shorts. She just stood there waiting for me to prompt her as she seemed more interested in her own personal business/chitchat about her own shopping than completing my transaction. She should also not assume that what I chose is not my size and questioning why I didn't pick a medium. This sort of poor customer service should not be normalised. Train your staff please Sports Direct!

5-star service at Stoke Newington branch because of Amed K's service on the shop floor.
I have been going to that shop for years, and I keep noticing that guy simply acts like a real gentleman with everyone, making the simple experience of buying shoes at another level. He seems never tired to help you finding the perfect shoes for you, with the kindest politest tone of voice, and he cares about your experience in the shop and with your shopping at SD in general.
I have seen and heard other customers there very happy with him.
I am writing now because he cared so much few days ago again and yesterday about my child finding the right pair of shoes for her volleyball match. And he helped me too to find what I really needed.

Possibly the worst service in a shop. Rude staff and have zero clue what they are doing. there is one tiny mirror at the back of the store making it so hard to try anything on. No one around to help get sizes for shoes, and sometimes no one even at the til.

Really helpful chap on the shop floor helped me find the right style and size trainers. Friendly and approachable, was really nice to see someone making an effort in a shop! It?s kinda rare these days. Wish I had got his name.
Shame about the young lady on the till though, I was clearly a cause of nuisance to her when I came to pay for about £150 worth of goods.

It's a good shop to go in and good stuff but there's not much kids trainers there's only about 3 good pairs to choose from and my son has had all of them soi don't go in there for trainers anymore they only have a few clothes for children aswel and my son has had them too but apart from that it's a good shop for adults trainers and clothes.

Today l walked into the store a 48 year black female professional, (never stole anything in my entire life) to my dismay the white male manager, spent his passing time staring at me throughout my visit, he made no connection to the white couple hovering around!
A suggestion to the manager; consider completing an unconscious bias training course!
I will never purchase another item from that store!

Just popped into buy a tee shirt ,stood at the till a few minutes, two members of staff clearly saw me standing there and chose to ignore me so I left the goods and walked out. To be fair the male member of staff was serving another customer but the female member of staff was just standing around the clothes rails and just watched and even when I was walking out never said a word . Absolute appalling customer service and this store will lose a lotta money if you have such incompetent and lazy stafff, very disappointing:(
